Priority Marketing President and Senior Creative Director Teri Hansen, APR, will deliver the keynote address at The Charity Event Awards on April 5. The new awards program honors nonprofits and those who support charitable causes.
Created by The Community Foundation, The Charity Event Awards recognize outstanding individual and organizational efforts in multiple categories, including the Best Overall Charity Event honor that comes with a $5,000 prize.
Under Teri’s direction, Priority Marketing has become Southwest Florida’s premier agency for nonprofits and actively represents dozens of charitable organizations with services that include brand development, public relations, graphic design, social media and email marketing, media planning, web solutions, event planning, video production, digital advertising and more. Since its inception in 1992, Priority Marketing has provided $3.5 million in discounted and pro bono services to local nonprofits.
Outside of work, Teri makes time to serve the community by serving on boards for Better Together, SalusCare and Earn to Learn FL. Teri also is a founding member and emeritus member of the Board of Directors for Lee BIA Builder’s Care and is a former member of the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties.
The Charity Event Awards begin at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5 at the Crowne Plaza Fort Myers at Bell Tower, 13051 Bell Tower Drive. Tickets are $150 per person. Sponsorships also are available.
