Bay Street Yard, located at 2136 Bay St., is a casual, yet upscale, outdoor entertainment venue with seating for over 300 people, two full-service bars and three unique food truck concepts serving up tailored menu options.

48 days that changed a Fort Myers family’s outlook on life

A Fort Myers family received the life-changing gift of a new home thanks to a partnership between nonprofit Lee BIA Builders Care, Stevens Construction and a variety of community partners. It took just 48 days to demolish and rebuild a home for Myrtle Dillard and her family. “It’s beautiful, it’s gorgeous!” she said during a grand reveal of the 3BR, 2BA, 1,347-square-foot wheelchair-accessible home.

Tebows share stories of faith to inspire the masses

Tim and Demi-Leigh Tebow shared their stories of faith during a powerful keynote address at the 2024 Southwest Florida Community Prayer Breakfast. More than 2,300 people gathered at Hammond Stadium at Lee Health Sports Complex for a morning of prayer and to hear messages of faith and service to others.

Grateful patient singlehandedly helps nurses earn degrees

Mark Ain credits certified nursing assistants at Gulf Coast Medical Center for their role in expediting his recovery. He was so pleased that he created the Heart of Caring Scholarship Program in 2014 alongside his wife, Carolyn, to cover tuition, fees and books for more than a dozen CNAs who wanted to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. This month, he took it a step further, pledging $4 million to the Lee Health Foundation for Heart of Caring in hopes of making a dent in the nursing shortage.

In the weeks since its grand opening, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Naples has become THE place to enjoy a movie, dinner and miniature golf in Southwest Florida. Local media continue posting news stories, including stellar reviews from a food critic and entertainment reporter.
