Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida will host its Bowl-A-Thon 2016 fundraising event from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 25 at HeadPinz Entertainment Center, located at 14513 Global Parkway in Fort Myers. Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m. The event will raise funds to support Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida programs throughout schools in Southwest Florida.
Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida encourages businesses, colleagues, neighbors and friends to join the fun. The participation fee is $1,500 for a team of six players, and includes food, beverage, two adult beverages, shoes and lane rental. The event provides local businesses the opportunity to implement fun team-building activities leading up to the event, as employees can collaborate to fundraise for the team fee, and departments can challenge each other from fundraising all the way to the bowling lane. Fundraising efforts for the Bowl-A-Thon 2016 will have a direct impact on the community, as approximately every $30 raised will grant one student in Southwest Florida access to Junior Achievement programs.
