Award-winning Charlotte-area agent joins Call It Closed International Realty

Cloud-based brokerage with Florida roots adds The Jonathan Dean Team

Jonathan Dean, an award-winning Charlotte-area real estate broker, Marine veteran and hobby farmer, and his team have joined Call It Closed International Realty.

A RE/MAX Hall of Fame member, Dean and his team have collectively generated more than $120 million in closed and pending sales over the past seven years.

A Melbourne, Florida, native, Dean was inspired to serve his country following the 9/11 terror attacks, joined the U.S. Marine Corps and was stationed at Camp Lejeune, N.C.

He served two tours of active duty in Iraq as an amphibious assault vehicle crewman/crew chief before returning to North Carolina after an honorable discharge in 2009. Dean then earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. He lives in Matthews with his wife and seven children.

“A lot of workplaces claim to be like families, but I can already tell this is a family atmosphere at Call It Closed,” Dean said of the company founded in 2019 by husband-and-wife Chad and Aprile Osborne as the first and only national, cloud-based, 100% commission brokerage with a multi-tiered revenue sharing platform. “We share the same singular focus on positioning our agents for success while building meaningful client relations – it’s a great fit.”

Call It Closed was recently named one of the country’s top independent brokerages by RealTrends Verified, ranking No. 135 nationwide. The company now has agents operating across 18 states and — with an eye on U.S. vacation-home buyers from abroad — launched an international outpost in London earlier this month.

“Jonathan’s passion for real estate and client service is exceeded only by his devotion to his family,” said Chad Osborne, co-founder and CEO of Call It Closed. “We are thrilled to expand our presence in Charlotte and across the state border in South Carolina as we look to further disrupt a stagnant industry model based on bricks-and-mortar locations and an outdated commission structure that benefits the few at the top.”

“Unlike the large brokerages, our entrepreneurial model gives agents a greater opportunity to succeed,” Osborne added. “And when agents are freed from paying hefty franchise fees and higher commissions, those savings invariably benefit the buyers and sellers whom they represent.”

Joining Dean at Call It Closed are The Jonathan Dean Team members: Kristy Kyle, Nathan Ellenwood, Jeff Goodall, Dominik Livinsky, Kamerin Roth, Wasef Mohammad and team administrator Ashely McLean.  The team works across metro Charlotte, with a focus on Mint Hill, Monroe, Indian Trail, Matthews, Gastonia, Belmont and Waxhaw, as well as Fort Mill, Rock Hill, York, Clover and other communities in South Carolina.
