GMA Architects & Planners (GMA) has recently hired Project Manager/Designer Zachary E. Smith.
Smith most recently served as a consulting architect for many Southwest Florida based operations. He has an extensive background in the architecture and construction industry for nearly 20 years. He adds teaching experience to his portfolio previously being an adjunct professor of architecture for five years at a local Fort Myers college. His most notable work includes; Lee County Mosquito Control District, Fort Myers Downtown Region Library, South Seas End Pool, 20 year Master Plan and Nursing Annex for Florida SouthWestern State College, formerly Edison State College, and the interiors for the Immokalee Casino Hotel Rooms. He is a graduate of The University of Memphis with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, received his master’s in Architecture from California State Polytechnic University and Florida International University. His greatest accomplishment is continuing a local multi-generational legacy with his three children Mary, Stella and Axl.
