Worthington Realty announces new leadership following an undisclosed acquisition by Michael Davis, Susana Davis and Brian Rodgers, who will take the helm of the nearly 35-year real estate company.
Founded in 1989, Worthington Realty has a long history in Southwest Florida’s real estate market and has earned a reputation for trustworthy leadership at Lexington Country Club in Fort Myers and surrounding communities, where its team serves homebuyers, sellers and renters with specialized knowledge and expertise in development, home sales and leasing. Purchased from Principal John Gnagey, the acquisition follows the passing of company founder and partner Jeff Darragh.

With more than 45 years of combined industry experience, the new leadership team envisions building upon Worthington Realty’s established market reputation and working alongside the company’s successful brokerage and sales teams to bring trusted expertise and a personalized, collaborative approach to the Southwest Florida region.
As president for Worthington Realty, Michael Davis brings considerable experience in strategic planning, identifying future growth trends, overseeing the property due diligence process, research and marketing. Over the course of his career, Michael has been a principal and facilitator in sourcing, evaluating and acquiring more than $1.3 billion in private real estate transactions and partnerships. He excelled as a real estate professional and mortgage broker before establishing the real estate investment management company TerraCap Management, where he served as co-founder and managing director for over 10 years. He earned a bachelor’s degree in music education from Southeastern University.
As Worthington Realty’s chief financial officer, Susana Davis, CPA, brings expertise in overseeing the financial, accounting and regulatory reporting for investors, lenders and joint venture partnerships. She has been actively involved in acquiring and financing more than 80 commercial real estate assets and has managed multi-million-dollar accounts. She served as director of finance and investor relations for TerraCap Management for over 10 years and held real estate and accounting roles at two local firms prior to that. She earned a master’s degree in accounting and taxation and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida Gulf Coast University. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Chief Operating Officer Brian Rodgers blends innovative thinking and versatile leadership in managing new developments, real estate sales and property management. His experience with start-up communities in Southwest Florida includes overseeing Arborwood Preserve, Wild Blue, Vista Blue and Mirada. Involved in the recruiting, hiring and training of sales staff, Rodgers and his assembled teams have sold more than $200 million in property each year, with an average home price of $400,000. Prior to this role, he owned a luxury vacation rental company, Grand Welcome Southwest Florida, and held sales positions for Lennar Homes and Royal Public Properties, as well as sales and leasing positions in the Illinois market. Rodgers holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Southern Illinois University and is a Licensed Florida Real Estate Broker.
