Precision Healthcare Specialists has added Dr. Marc Colton as the practice introduces urologic care to its growing list of medical specialties.
Colton is a board-certified urologist with more than 30 years of experience in private practice and hospital environments. Colton offers a full range of urologic care for patients with prostate, bladder and kidney cancer in addition to providing medical and surgical management for individuals with erectile dysfunction, urinary incontinence and kidney stones.
His surgical capabilities include traditional, laser and Aquablation surgery for enlarged prostates. Colton performed Southwest Florida’s first Aquablation surgery, which is an advanced, minimally invasive treatment that uses the power of water delivered with robotic precision to provide long-lasting relief for symptoms of enlarged prostates. Additionally, he was the first physician in New Jersey to perform GreenLight laser therapy to the prostate, a procedure that rapidly heats and vaporizes excess prostate tissue to restore natural urine flow.
Board-certified through The American Board of Urology, Colton has practiced in the Naples area since 2018 and previously was licensed in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Colton earned a bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University before completing a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) through the Drexel University College of Medicine. He then completed general surgery and urology training at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia and received his urologic oncology experience at Fox Chase Cancer Center.
