The Island Cow reopens on Sanibel Island

The cows have officially come home, and The Island Cow on Sanibel Island is udderly thrilled to reopen for indoor and outdoor dining with adjusted hours starting at noon Tuesday, May 5.

Serving up generous portions of Old Florida coastal comfort food and travel inspired recipes, The Island Cow is open for lunch and dinner from noon to 8 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays and for breakfast (complete with bloody marys), lunch and dinner from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Guests can relax their hides on island time at the restaurant’s tropical setting, freshly painted and with newly expanded outdoor seating on the back porch that follows six-foot social distancing guidelines. The Island Cow has implemented additional safety precautions to provide a safe dining atmosphere for guests, adhering to CDC and social distancing guidelines in addition to taking temperatures of all staff.

The Island Cow’s menu is also available to go for those in the mooo-d to enjoy at home. Orders can be made in person or by calling ahead.
