Christina Harris Schwinn, Pavese Law Firm partner and legislative director for SHRM SWFL to speak at the SHRM SWFL lunch meeting on March 9 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Crowne Plaza, located at 13051 Bell Tower Dr. in Fort Myers. Sponsored by Pavese Law Firm, Ms. Schwinn will provide a Legal and Legislative update on significant employment law cases from 2015, a legislative update regarding pending federal legislation, an update regarding Florida’s 2016 legislative session regarding the employment law bills that passed and did not pass, and an agency round up regarding agency initiatives including the National Labor Relations Board, U.S. Department of Labor and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. SHRM SWFL, an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management, is a group of human resource professionals who come together to discuss issues related to human resource management and find ways to better serve their employers and employees.
