Naples Center for Functional Medicine announces Jan. 15 seminar exploring benefits of genetic testing

Dr. Eduardo MaristanySouthwest Florida residents interested in learning how their genetic profiles can impact their overall health and wellness are invited to a complimentary seminar on Jan. 15 at Naples Center for Functional Medicine.

The one-hour lecture will be led by Dr. Eduardo Maristany, a board-certified internal medicine physician at Naples Center for Functional Medicine. Maristany was trained by the Institute of Functional Medicine and is an active researcher and practitioner in the study of genomics.

Using evidence-based, science-focused genomic intelligence, Maristany utilizes cutting-edge IntellxxDNA testing to understand patients’ health care risks both now and in the future.

“Our genes provide valuable data to help you and your physician understand your unique health care needs,” Maristany said. “IntellxxDNA reports can show a patient’s likelihood to develop heart disease, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, osteoporosis and other conditions. Using this information, we can develop a custom nutritional, medication, exercise and wellness plan based on a patient’s genetic profile.”

The free lecture starts at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at the Naples Center for Functional Medicine, 800 Goodlette-Frank Road, Suite 270, in Naples.

Space is limited. To RSVP, please visit NaplesCFM.com or call 239-649-7400.
