Mother Nature offers scenic entertainment aboard the Good Fortune II

Conservancy of Southwest Florida eco cruises to set sail Nov. 1 – May 31

For those looking for a unique and memorable Southwest Florida experience, the Conservancy of Southwest Florida will offer exclusive eco cruises through Rookery Bay from Nov. 1, 2017 through May 31, 2018 aboard the Good Fortune II.

Locals and guests can enjoy a piece Southwest Florida’s natural beauty aboard the 40-passenger Good Fortune II, with daily adventures including “Leisurely Lunch” and “Classic Sunset” cruises, as well as a selection of specialty cruises and private charters. Coast Guard-certified boat captains, accompanied by trained naturalists, help spot and identify wildlife, and provide guests with an experience that is both relaxing and informative.

Located just south of Naples, Rookery Bay is one of the few undisturbed mangrove estuaries left in the U.S., and one of only 28 National Estuarine Reserves. These 110,000 acres of open water, containing interconnected bays, mangrove wetlands, lagoons and streams is habitat for a vast array of wildlife, including dolphin, manatee and hundreds of species of birds. Protecting this threatened estuary was the first accomplishment of the Conservancy, founded by a group of concerned citizens, more than 50 years ago.

To make a reservation or for more information, visit www.conservancy.org/goodfortune or call 239-213-2500. All proceeds benefit the Conservancy of Southwest Florida’s mission of protecting the area’s water, land, wildlife and future.
