Elmquist Eye Group announces plans to relocate Fort Myers operations

Renovation of future office to commence in July

Elmquist Eye Group has announced that the practice will relocate its Fort Myers operations in January 2019, with plans to commence renovations to its future Fort Myers medical office in late-July 2018.

Conveniently positioned near the intersection of Cypress Lake Drive and Summerlin Road, the new 7,000-square-foot office is located at 7970 Summerlin Lakes Drive in Fort Myers and is only 1.5 miles from its existing office. The larger space will help Elmquist Eye Group serve an additional 250 patients per week, and the practice plans to increase its team members to accommodate the growth and needs of their patients.

Elmquist Eye Group’s new office will introduce an expanded procedure room for patient care, and will also enlarge its optical boutique, which offers a selection of the latest eyewear designs and technology, in addition to cleaning, adjustment and repair services.

“With more than 25 years of service in Southwest Florida, we are honored to introduce the community to a new facility with increased space, staff and capabilities,” said Dr. Trevor Elmquist, founder of Elmquist Eye Group. “We look forward to beginning our transition into our new Fort Myers office, a move that better enables our practice to continue serving patients with exemplary eye care in a comfortable and caring setting.”

The renovation project for Elmquist’s new office will be completed by Stevens Construction with design by Practice Flow Solutions and Southview Studios, LLC. The project includes a complete interior renovation and exterior façade upgrade, designed with the highest of medical practice efficiency in order to provide patients with the best access to care and state-of-the art technology. Elmquist Eye Group will remain at its current location on New Brittany Boulevard throughout the project’s duration. Elmquist will also continue to serve patients at its offices in Cape Coral and at The Arbor Medical Clinic within Shell Point Retirement Community.

Having recently celebrated 25 years in business, Elmquist Eye Group is led by founder Dr. Trevor Elmquist and a team of highly skilled associates, including Dr. Kate Wagner, Dr. Nina Burt and Dr. Sarah Eccles-Brown.
