Better Together, a nonprofit dedicated to helping families in crisis and preventing the need for foster care, is hosting a Parents’ Night Out event on Friday, Feb. 16 for families in the Southwest Florida region.
The program offers parents, grandparents and other caregivers access to a couple of hours of no-cost care for children from infant to 17 years old. Better Together will provide background-checked volunteers in addition to dinner, games and fun for children to enjoy while parents are away.
“As a parent, having a night off to take a break, catch up on errands or do something for yourself is important, especially after the holidays,” said Megan Rose, CEO of Better Together. “Parents’ Night Out grants children a night full of fun and gives parents time away with the reassurance that their children are being cared for by background-checked volunteers.”
Parents’ Night Out will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16 at Gulf Shore Life Center, located at 25300 Bernwood Drive in Bonita Springs.
