Avow has been certified as a Great Place to Work for the third consecutive year. The Great Place to Work Certification recognizes employers who create an outstanding employee experience.
“Providing compassionate care that allows our patients to live out their lives with love is what we strive for at Avow. We couldn’t do that without a staff who has passion for what they do and who go above and beyond,” said Jaysen Roa, president & CEO of Avow companies. “We are proud to have kept the certification as being a Great Place to Work because it shows that the culture within our organization supports not only the patients, but the employees who work so hard.”
Certification is a two-step process that includes an employee survey and a questionnaire about a company’s workforce. Avow’s survey results found that 94% of employees say that Avow is a great place to work, placing the organization substantially above the national average of 57%.
The survey further showed that 97% of employees at Avow felt that their work has a special meaning and is not “just a job.” Employees feel a sense of pride in what they do and are proud to tell others that they work at Avow.
Avow is a Collier County, Florida-based nonprofit healthcare organization that provides hospice care, non-hospice palliative care, and grief and loss support. The organization serves people of all ages, from infants to senior citizens. To learn more about Avow’s services visit, avowcares.org.
