Wonder Gardens announces Brews & Blues for the Birds

Guests will enjoy brews and blues March 8

An exciting new twist is coming to the Wonder Gardens’ popular beer tasting event. Planned Saturday, March 8 at 6 p.m., Brews & Blues for the Birds will take beer tasting fun to a new level with live blues music performances by The Pitbull of Blues Band.

Guests can taste a wide variety of craft beers from popular local breweries as well as breweries throughout Florida, plus wine from Three60 Wine and some alcohol-free options like kava and Flying Eagle Kombucha. Local food trucks, Easy Cheesy, Hungry Pony Foodcart and Rita’s Italian Ice will be onsite too, plus multiple vendors selling items like candles, pottery, jewelry and more.

General admission tickets include eight tasting tickets and are $50 for Wonder Gardens members and $55 for non-members. VIP ticketholders receive 10 tickets, early admission, VIP seating, an event t-shirt and a pint glass. VIP tickets are $75 for members and $80 for non-members.

Proceeds from Brews & Blues for the Birds support the operations of the Wonder Gardens in providing the highest standards of care for resident birds and reptiles, as well as upkeep of the beautiful horticultural collection. Funds are also contributed to ongoing updates and projects that help Renew the Wonder. The Wonder Gardens does not receive taxpayer funding or support. Improvements, maintenance, staff and animal care are paid for by admissions, memberships, giftshop sales, fundraisers and donations.
