Attendees of the May program will have the opportunity to learn the keys to successful mentoring during a panel discussion featuring three successful Southwest Florida businesswomen and the colleagues they mentor. Providing valuable insight into the mentor/mentee experience, featured speakers include Christin Collins, system director of health and wellness for Lee Health and 2012 Apex Award recipient, joined by mentee Tracy Siekmann, director of the Healthy Life Centers for Lee Health; Gail Markham, founding partner of Markham Norton Mosteller Wright & Co. and 2008 Apex Award recipient, joined by mentee Kelsey Griffin, partner at Markham Norton Mosteller Wright & Co.; and Connie Ramos-Williams, founder and chief marketing officer of CONRIC PR & Marketing and 2015 Apex Award recipient, joined by mentee Jaimie Miller, vice president of marketing for CONRIC PR & Marketing.
The panel discussion will be facilitated by Jessica Walker from Markham Norton Mosteller Wright & Co., and attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and interact with the panel.
Each month, Women in Business features a nonprofit spotlight and in May, Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida will be highlighted. Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida is dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future and make smart academic and economic choices. The nonprofit partners with classroom business volunteers to deliver lessons on financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship to students at both public and private schools, as well as after school programs and special at-risk groups throughout Collier, Lee and Charlotte counties.
The May networking event is hosted by Florida Repertory Theatre and sponsored by the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce Foundation. Free parking is provided across the street from Florida Repertory Theatre, in a parking lot on Bay Street.
