Women in Business seeks nominations for 2019 Apex Awards

Sanibel Captiva Community Bank named title sponsor of 14th annual event

The Women in Business committee of the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for its 2019 Apex Awards. Nominations can be submitted through Friday, March 1 at www.fortmyers.org/events/apex-awards.

Presented by Sanibel Captiva Community Bank, the annual Apex Awards event is an evening gala recognizing local women, also Chamber members, with outstanding reputations for professionalism, philanthropy and leadership.

“This annual event is a true celebration of our members and their commitment to professional excellence, service and mentorship,” said Kelly Talamo, co-chair of the 2019 Apex Awards.

“We encourage the community to nominate their deserving leaders for this prestigious recognition as we pay tribute to the many inspirational, hardworking women of Southwest Florida,” shared Apex co-chair Tracy Siekmann.

The 14th annual Apex Awards dinner will be held on Saturday, Aug. 17 at The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village in Cape Coral. Five finalists will be recognized during the event, and one will be named the recipient of this year’s Apex Award.

For more information on nominating an individual or purchasing tickets for the event, please contact Katie Hanson at Katie@fortmyers.org or 239-332-2930 ext. 211.
