Women in Business offers how-to session on infusing CBD into food, drinks

July’s Women in Business networking event features a virtual cooking tutorial demonstrating how to infuse CBD into food and drinks for an overall healthier lifestyle.

CBD experts from Seed & Bean Market in Fort Myers will lead the July 1 program. Participants will learn how CBD can be mixed into food, coffee, mocktails and more.

When it opened in 2018, Seed & Bean Market was Florida’s first cannabis café and CBD marketplace. Today, the café offers full breakfast, lunch and dinner menus, as well as an extensive line of CBD products for both humans and pets. CBD is a naturally occurring compound found in the resin of the hemp and cannabis plants, and is touted as a safe, natural option to help reduce pain, decrease inflammation, and improve an individual’s wellness and quality of life.

The Women in Business virtual program runs from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1. The event is free to attend, but registration is required by visiting Members.FortMyers.org/Events. Registered virtual attendees will also receive a 10% discount code for use storewide at Seed & Bean Market. Participants can make a donation to the Women in Business Scholarship Fund while registering.

In addition to events held on the first Wednesday of every month, the Women in Business Committee also coordinates the annual Apex Awards program that honors exceptional women who excel in the areas of professionalism, philanthropy and leadership.
