Women in Business’ Oct. 7 virtual program to spotlight female entrepreneurs

The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce’s Women in Business Committee will host a virtual program at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7, highlighting the challenges and opportunities of women-owned and -operated businesses.

Attendees will hear from a panel of four female entrepreneurs who will discuss their experiences building their businesses. Speakers include Suzanne Boy, Erica Castner, Kelly Fayer and Judy Williams. The program will be moderated by Jessica Walker of Markham Norton Mosteller Wright & Company, P.A.

Boy is the founding partner, attorney and board-certified specialist in labor and employment law for Boy Agnew Potanovic, PLLC. She is an accomplished public speaker, frequently hired to speak to businesses and professional groups on various employment matters, and she regularly writes on employment-related issues.

Castner is the founder of Castner Consulting & Coaching, where she provides branding and marketing strategies. She recently launched the “Love the Work You Do” podcast and has been featured as a guest contributor to over 200 podcasts, articles and conferences.

Fayer has been an attorney for over 20 years and the owner of her law firm, Kelly L. Fayer, P.A., for the past 13. She holds leadership positions in many organizations in the local area, including past president of the Lee County Bar Association, treasurer of CAMEO of Lee County and advisory board member for Impact Initiative.

Williams is the co-owner of SPADA Salon & Day Spa. Under the leadership of Williams and her husband, the spa has expanded to almost 14,000 square feet with a team of 53 employees, making it the largest day spa in Southwest Florida. She also mentors future leaders and graduates, and supports many local nonprofits.

The Women in Business program is $10 for members of the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce and $15 for future members. Attendees can register in advance at FortMyers.org to receive webinar login credentials.
