According to a recent study covered by MediaPost.com, Millennials are getting their news from social media. The typical young Millennial (ages 18-25) follows an average of 121 publishers across social media networks, nearly three times as many as 35- to 55-year-olds, and consume news on their cell phones 45% more. They also are 15% more likely to value news delivered in a format optimized for their mobile devices.
