Every month, Priority Marketing’s clients and partners host a wide range of special events, seminars, workshops, activities and fundraising opportunities. Check out the list of client events in July 2022. 

FEATURED EVENT 

Thursday, July 28 

Client Events - Beers with your PeersBeers with your Peers, a night of casual networking created by the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce, will convene at 5 p.m. on July 28 at The Library Pizza & Pub at Gulf Coast Town Center.

The cost is $15 for Chamber members or $20 for future members. Admission includes one free drink and light appetizers.

The Library Pizza & Pub is a casual, quick service pizza restaurant with appetizers, salads, sandwiches and more.

ADDITIONAL CLIENT EVENTS IN JULY 2022 

July 1-29: Elite DNA Therapy Services is hosting a Back-to-School Supplies Drive at its 20+ locations across Florida, collecting a range of school supplies to support children in the upcoming school year. LINK: Supply Drive  

July 6 & 26: Senior Choice at Home is hosting a pair of informative luncheon seminars at The Forest Country Club in Fort Myers to outline its innovative, member-based program for independent, healthy older adults. Senior Choice at Home provides members with a lifelong commitment to care, asset protection and the ability to receive individualized care coordination, all from the comforts of their own home. July 6: Kids’ Minds Matter will host a free parent workshop at Quality Life Center in Fort Myers called Dignified Discipline, which shows how parents can manage their children’s behavior in a way that maintains healthy relationships while changing inappropriate behaviors. The goal is to bring joy back to parenting. LINK: Dignified Discipline 

July 7 & 19: Gulf Coast Village’s Summer Showcase of Homes combines its popular informational seminar with tours to provide attendees a full overview of life at Cape Coral’s premier Continuing Care Retirement Community. After learning about daily life at Gulf Coast Village, attendees can visit model apartment homes to see different floorplans. LINK: Summer Showcase 

July 8: Kids’ Minds Matter will host a free virtual parent workshop, Dignified Discipline, that shows how parents can manage their children’s behavior in a way that maintains healthy relationships while changing inappropriate behaviors. July 12: Leadership NEXT, a monthly program for advancing business professionals, will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the business side of Hammond Stadium and the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels, including a tour of stadium suites and operations, discussion of the Mighty Mussels brand change and how businesses are using baseball as opportunities for team building. Monthly sessions of Leadership NEXT offer opportunities to develop new knowledge and skills, establish working relationships with colleagues, and engage in valuable programs and discussions that enhance careers. July 12: Kids’ Minds Matter is offering its successful Youth Mental Health First Aid course, a program that teaches participants how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders in youth. The class covers common signs and symptoms of mental illness among children and teens, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, ADHD and more. LINK: Mental Health First Aid 

July 14: Business Before Breakfast, a monthly networking session with light refreshments before the workday begins, will be held at Southwest Florida Homes Team in Fort Myers. Guests are encouraged to bring business cards. LINK: Business Before Breakfast

July 19: Kids’ Minds Matter is hosting a free virtual workshop to teach parents of children with special needs how to work effectively and collaboratively with schools to educate their children. “Understanding Education for Children with Special Needs” is a one-time, 90-minute workshop. July 21: The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce’s July Luncheon will focus on tips to maintain a healthy work-life balance at the Holiday Inn Fort Myers Airport at Town Center. Attendees will hear from guest speaker David Essel of DEEI and learn how to re-establish that balance. LINK: Chamber Luncheon 

July 22-24: Vibe Yoga is offering trauma-informed yoga teacher training that is also available to yoga students looking to deepen their yoga knowledge for personal use or to someday teach. Training topics include an overview of regions of the brain, definition of trauma, symptoms and triggers of trauma, how trauma effects the brain, breakdown of the nervous system, polyvagal theory, creating a safe container, modifications and adaptations, trauma release exercises, creating an inner resource, and how yoga, meditation and breathwork help ease the effects of trauma. July 28: Better Together has scheduled a virtual Better Families Volunteer Training session for attendees to learn about volunteer opportunities with the nonprofit, including those interested in becoming host families and volunteer coaches. LINK: Better Families 

July 29: Better Together is hosting a Parents’ Night Out event at Quality Life Center in Fort Myers, providing parents and guardians with an evening of no-cost child care. LINK: Parents’ Night Out
