Check out the list of client events in September 2025. Each of the events listed is open to the public; some are free events, while others require tickets or RSVPs.

Event Name: Sizzle Dining
Description: Sizzle Dining has expanded to four weeks in 2025 while breaking its own record with 128 restaurants participating in Southwest Florida’s premier culinary event.
Foodies from across the region can enjoy mouth-watering prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus that highlight local chefs’ impressive culinary skills. Sizzle Dining menus are offered at affordable prices to encourage visitors to try a variety of local restaurants during a slower period for the local dining scene. Additionally, eight restaurants are hosting special themed brunch options on the weekend.
Sizzle Dining allows Southwest Floridians to dine with purpose as $1 from each Sizzle Dining meal will benefit Blessings in a Backpack, a local nonprofit that provides food so elementary students can eat healthy meals and snacks over the weekend. Participating restaurants and menus are available online at SizzleDining.org.

Aug. 29 – Sept. 1
Join the fun at Brightwater Lagoon for Labor Day Weekend. Featuring a monthly Cigar Night, College Colors Day, a watermelon eating contest and Brightwater’s six acres of clear blue water and sandy beaches.

Sept. 3
Join the Greater Fort Myers Chamber – Women in Business committee for their monthly mixer. Attendees can build professional connections, meet fellow Chamber members and develop skills.

Sept. 4
The Fort Myers Mighty Mussels’ final Mussel Up for the Community Night of the 2025 baseball season will recognize individuals and organizations focused on our environment. Honorees will be recognized during the game, which highlights a six-game homestand that closes out the regular season.

Sept. 4
Join Bay Street Yard for the opening of the NFL season as the Super Bowl Champions Philadelphia Eagles take on the Dallas Cowboys. The game will be displayed on the jumbo LED screen with sound. Catch the games all season long with game day watch parties on Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays, along with college football games on Saturdays.

Sept. 5
The Lee County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division is hosting Judge Kimberly Davis Bocelli for a Chambers Lunch at the Lee County Justice Center in Fort Myers. The event is open to Bar Association members only.

The Calusa Sportsman Foundation’s fifth annual Inshore Benefit includes a Captain’s Dinner, raffle, fishing tournament, awards dinner and live auction. This year’s nonprofit beneficiaries include Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County and Valerie’s House.

Sept. 6
The annual Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk at Florida SouthWestern State College in Fort Myers. The event benefits the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, chaired locally by Taylor Carpet One’s Lauren Taylor. The foundation supports our nation’s fallen and catastrophically injured first responders, military heroes and their families.

Lee Health Foundation’s 8th Annual Clips for Cancer event presented by Florida Radiology Consultants at Bell Tower Shops in Fort Myers. The annual community event raises funds to support Barbara’s Friends – Golisano Children’s Hospital pediatric cancer fund.

Community Cooperative’s 19th annual Becoming Cosmopolitan: Mad About Hunger event features an evening full of whimsical cocktails, a topsy-turvy tea party, enchanting treats and an incredible silent auction for guests whose support helps end hunger and homelessness in Southwest Florida.

The Lee County Bar Association is hosting “Coffee with the Clerk’s Office” while providing legislative/procedural updates, e-filing and case processing times, and attorney services and resources. The program is free for all Lee County Bar Association members.
