Every month, Priority Marketing’s clients and partners host a wide range of special events, seminars, workshops, activities and fundraising opportunities. Check out the list of client events in September 2023.

DATES: Sept. 1-30 

Client Events - Clips for CancerDescription: The 6th Annual Clips for Cancer runs throughout September to raise funds necessary to ensure that programs and services are available for local children diagnosed with cancer at Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, a time for the community to come together with a goal of raising $350,000 to benefit Barbara’s Friends – Golisano Children’s Hospital’s cancer fund.

ADDITIONAL CLIENT EVENTS IN SEPTEMBER 2023 

Sept. 5-10 

The Fort Myers Mighty Mussels host the final homestand of the season against the Bradenton Marauders. The six-game series features numerous food and drink specials, along with Bark in the Park, a Rally Towel Giveaway and Hispanic Heritage Night.

Sept. 8 

The Lee County Black History Society is hosting Museum After Dark, an unforgettable evening filled with live music, savory hors d’oeuvres and a touch of sophistication as the nonprofit raises funds and awareness for a new African American Cultural Center.

Sept. 12 

The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce’s September luncheon will be held at Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Myers and is being sponsored by HBKS Wealth Advisors.

Sept. 13 & 27 

Gulf Coast Village, a continuing care retirement community in Southwest Florida, is hosting two informational sessions in Cape Coral that allow seniors and their families to discover Gulf Coast Village and its offerings as they navigate their search for the senior living community that is right for them.

The Wonder Gardens is launching its Teen Wonder Guide fall program, which is designed for teens who are passionate about wildlife and conservation, learning public speaking, independently motivated, enthusiastic to work with guests of all ages, and responsible and courteous. The program offers exclusive educational experiences, community service hours, and job and life skills.

Sept. 14 & 22 

Senior Choice at Home will host two Dine & Discover luncheons in Fort Myers to provide seniors and their families with the opportunity to learn more about continuing care options that work for them and their health care needs, as well as a complimentary meal to enjoy during each session.

Sept. 15 

Better Together is hosting a Parents’ Night Out event at Covenant Church of Naples, providing parents and guardians with an evening of no-cost child care.

Sept. 21 

Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties is hosting an online homeownership information meeting over Zoom to explain Habitat’s affordable housing program and outline steps to homeownership. This session will be conducted in Spanish.

The Leadership NEXT committee of the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce will host Business After Hours at the Salvation Army Fort Myers Corps, where attendees will delve into the world of board membership and how to attract quality member candidates.

Sept. 27 

The Jewish Federation of Greater Naples’ 2023 Summer Book Discussion continues with Howard Blum, author of The Spy Who Knew Too Much. Participants are encouraged to read the book in advance and ask questions during the one-hour event.

Sept. 28 

Business Before Breakfast, a monthly networking session with light refreshments, will be held at Gulf Coast Business Bank, which was the first community bank to open in Southwest Florida in 12 years when it debuted in 2022. Early rising guests are encouraged to bring business cards.

Senior Choice at Home and Gulf Coast Village are co-hosting a Retirement Options Workshop that explores solutions to ensure older adults are cared for in the continuum of life. The presentation outlines retirement options offered through partnership programs.
