Nov. 16: Charity for Change will host its annual gala, Enchantment in the Rainforest, to raise funds that support more than 5,000 students who participate in after-school, summer school, preschool and in-school programs.
The gala includes a cocktail hour with a silent auction, interactive trivia-style games, dancing and dinner. Giver Bingo will be played throughout the evening with the chance to win a $1,000 gift certificate to Capital Grille.
Founded in 2008, Charity for Change offers character education and community engagement programs for students in Collier County. The goal of Charity for Change is to cultivate confident, compassionate children who become successful learners, contribute to their communities and participate in society as ethical, employable, resilient and self-reliant citizens

Nov. 1-2: Shell Point Retirement Community’s 14th annual Artists and Artisans Holiday Bazaar features one-of-a-kind holiday items created by residents, including hand-designed novelty gifts, Christmas décor, stylish totes, jewelry, intricate wood sculptures, three-dimensional paper crafts, homemade tasty goodies, children’s clothing, stained glass, books, scarves and more. Nov. 8: Pace Center for Girls, Lee County will host Tides of Change, a shoreside evening of artistically crafted hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, dinner and dancing that includes a live auction to raise money for Pace programs. LINK: Tides of Change
Nov. 8: Dress for Success SW Florida will host Shop for Success, a signature shopping event that features thousands of gently used clothing in sizes 00 to 26 and accessories, including dresses, tops, pants, skirts, suits, jackets, shoes, handbags, scarves and jewelry starting at $5. Nov. 9: Cypress Pharmacy’s natural health consultant, Dr. Stan Headley, will lead a discussion about the benefits of self-care in enhancing overall health and wellness. LINK: Self-Care 101
Nov. 14: Sunshine Ace Hardware’s fourth annual Bonita Ladies Night Out – “Heels, Hounds and Hardware” – includes complimentary gift bags, discounts, DIY demonstrations, a raffle, food samples, wine tasting, musical entertainment, a fashion show and adoptable dogs and cats. LINK: Bonita Ladies Night
