Check out the list of client events in November 2024. Each of the events listed is open to the public; some are free events, while others require tickets or RSVPs.

Location: The Ranch Concert Hall & Saloon, Fort Myers
Description: Community Cooperative’s 18th Annual Becoming Cosmopolitan Mad about Hunger event features a mad tea party and treats, cocktails, a silent auction and a good time for guests whose support helps end hunger and homelessness in Southwest Florida.
At the event, more than 300 guests will venture down the rabbit hole for an absolutely maddening evening featuring a mad tea party and treats, cocktails that will make you big and small, an imaginative silent auction and a wondrously good time – all while raising money to support Community Cooperative’s mission of ending hunger and homelessness in Southwest Florida.
The public will be able to bid on auction items available during the event.

Nov. 1
Premier Mobile Health Services’ Roaring Twenties-themed Speakeasy Ball will feature a night of gaming, glamour and Great Gatsby vibes. Guests will enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres, drink tickets and gaming vouchers.

The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce’ annual Golf Classic will be held at The Club at Renaissance. Participants can expect an afternoon full of golfing and networking with local business leaders and the community, as well as a light lunch and buffet dinner during the closing ceremony.

Nov. 1
Cancer Alliance Network will host its inaugural charity golf ball drop at the Golf Club of the Everglades in Naples. The nonprofit is selling up to 500 golf balls that will be dropped from a Collier County Sheriff’s Office helicopter; the winner of the $10,000 prize will be determined by how close the ball lands to the predetermined hole.

Nov. 1
The Belltober Beer Festival at Bell Tower will celebrate local fall-themed craft beers and feature live performances, games, vendors, and a mac and cheese contest in which restaurants compete to win the golden pumpkin. All proceeds will benefit United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades.

The Jewish Federation of Greater Naples’ fall 2024 Elliott Katz Lecture Series consists of six weekly discussions, including three in November. This month’s topics are “Maybe Joe was Right” on Nov. 1, “The Fugo Plan” on Nov. 8 and “Poor Coco Chanel” on Nov. 15.

The Jewish Federation of Greater Naples’ Israel and Overseas Committee has announced its 2024-25 speaker series. The six-month program begins with a presentation and discussion by Ido Aharoni Aronoff titled “Israel at Crossroads Post October 7.”

Cancer Alliance Network’s Retro Revival at Kalea Bay will allow guests to travel back in time and groove to the sounds of disco, funk, rock and soul. The fundraiser includes a dinner buffet, top-shelf open bar and plenty of dancing. Participants are encouraged to wear their best period-era attire from the age of bell bottoms, fringe vests, wide lapels and more.

Nov. 5
Gulf Coast Village and the North Fort Myers Art Association are collaborating for a rotating art exhibit featuring renowned local and resident artists. The exhibit, “New Beginnings,” will showcase a variety of mixed media art, including paintings, fiber art, jewelry and more. The event begins with a champaign reception and ribbon cutting with the Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce.

The Lee County Bar Association Foundation is hosting its Annual Wine Tasting event at FineMark National Bank & Trust in Fort Myers. The event, titled “A Time to Wine & Dine,” raises money to benefit the foundation’s grant program.

The Women in Business Committee of the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce will host a session titled “Hardhats & High Heels” that focuses on women working in the construction industry. Drake Ready Mix is this month’s host and light refreshments will be provided.

United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades will launch its 2024-25 annual campaign with a kickoff event in Fort Myers. This year’s theme, “United We’re Stronger,” reflects United Way’s commitment to bringing the community together for a stronger future. The Lee County Campaign Kickoff will feature photo opportunities, special guests and a reveal of the winner of a two-year lease on a brand-new Lexus.

Palmview, an assisted living and memory support community at Gulf Coast Village, is inviting seniors and their family members for an afternoon of tours, meet and greets, and informational sessions exploring options.

Senior Choice at Home will host a Dine and Discover event at The Plantation Golf & Country Club in Fort Myers for seniors interested in aging at home. The event will include an informative presentation on the program, a complimentary lunch and a question-and-answer session for attendees.

The Lee County Bar Association’s Community Aid Project involves distributing food at a mobile food bank through a partnership with Community Cooperative. Following the distribution, participants will enjoy a networking lunch at Smokin’ Pit Bar-B-Que.

The 7th annual Solid Waste Golf Tournament benefits United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades, and will be held at Cape Royal Golf Club in Cape Coral. Participants in the scramble format tournament also will enjoy breakfast, lunch, an awards ceremony and opportunities to win raffle prizes and participate in golf contests.

Gulf Coast Humane Society hosts the 2nd Annual Bark in the Park fundraiser and advocacy walk, sponsored by Goldstein, Buckely, Cechman, Rice & Purtz at Centennial Park in Fort Myers. Music, vendors and activies are planned for families and their dogs.

The 12th annual Golisano Children’s Hospital Fashion Show includes a luncheon, auction and opportunities to see the latest fashions grace the runway. Funds raised will support the future Golisano Children’s Hospital Surgical Center.

The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce’s monthly luncheon will include insight into Lee Health’s conversion to a nonprofit health system. Lee Health CEO Dr. Larry Antonucci and VP for Government Relations Michael Nachef will present Lee Health’s community-focused conversion plan and its economic impact for Southwest Florida.

ECHO’s 31st annual International Agriculture Conference is devoted to eradicating hunger and improving lives through agriculture, clean water and community development. Topics for breakout sessions and workshops include sustainable farming, plant grafting, natural farming, mobilizing churches for agricultural ministry, building resilience against hunger through animal agriculture and more.

B103.9’s Coconuts 4 A Cure 5K and 1 Mile Run will be held at Coconut Point in Estero and raise funds for the Breast Cancer Compassionate Care Fund at Lee Health Cancer Institute through the Lee Health Foundation. Runners will receive a race T-shirt, medals and pink accessories to wear during the race.

Nov. 17
Through the Catholic-Jewish Dialogue of Collier County, the Jewish Federation of Greater Naples is hosting a Community Kristallnacht Commemoration Program that aims to educate and inform the public about an event historians recognize as “the night the Holocaust began.” The guest speaker is John Koenigsberg, who hid from the Nazis for two years while sheltering with a Catholic family.

Leadership NEXT, a monthly program for advancing business professionals in Southwest Florida, will host a session exploring the next wave of emerging talent. FGCU students will guide the conversation as they discuss what they look for in a potential employer, job hunting and the transition to post-grad life. Light refreshments are provided.

The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce welcomes business leaders and community members to Business Unplugged, a casual networking event for chamber members and guests to make connections to expand their business and professional outlook.
