Every month, Priority Marketing’s clients and partners host a wide range of special events, seminars, workshops, activities and fundraising opportunities. Check out the list of client events in November 2023.

Better Together - Night of a Million DreamsA Night of a Million Dreams 

Date: Nov. 10 

Description: Better Together is hosting a Wizard of Oz-themed gala, A Night of a Million Dreams, to raise awareness and support for programs that help parents find employment and provide a loving, safe and supportive foundation for their children. Guests will go on a magical journey to the wonderful land of better families and better jobs with an evening of dinner, impactful stories, and live and silent auctions. A Night of a Million Dreams will be held at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point in Bonita Springs.

Holiday Season Kickoff 

Date: Nov. 23-28 

Description: The holiday season official kicks off with Thanksgiving (Nov. 23), which is followed in quick succession by Black Friday (Nov. 24), Small Business Saturday (Nov. 25), Cyber Monday (Nov. 27) and Giving Tuesday (Nov. 28). Don’t forget your local small businesses and nonprofit organizations – they need your support!

Nov. 1-Dec. 24 
Ace Hardware stores across Southwest Florida, including Sunshine Ace Hardware, are hosting Holiday Round-Up campaigns to benefit local children and teens undergoing treatment at Golisano Children’s Hospital. Customers can simply round up their purchases at the register to make a difference in the lives of local families.

Nov. 1 
Women in Business, a committee of the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce, is presenting “Purses with a Purpose” at the Langford-Kingston Home that allows supporters to place bids on new and vintage purses. Proceeds will support the Women in Business Scholarship Fund. The “Handbag Happy Hour” features light refreshments; guests are encouraged to bring business cards.

Nov. 2 
Gulf Coast Village’s Lunch & Learn includes authentic Italian cuisine and an informative discussion about life plan options available at the retirement community, which offers six apartment floor plans and ample amenities for those considering a transition into an independent living community.

Nov. 3 
Norman Love Confections is hosting a three-hour interactive class that allows individuals and groups to become chocolatiers for the night, creating decadent treasures they can take home and enjoy. This class covers the art of making chocolate truffles.

Nov. 3 
Fresh Fridays takes place the first Friday of every month in downtown Sarasota. Brick’s Smoked Meats and many other restaurants, art galleries and stores participate in a street party that rotates between Main Street, Palm Avenue, Five Points, and State Street. Every month has a different theme.

Nov. 3-20 
Thanksgiving hosts and guests can leave the desserts to Norman Love Confections, which is offering six fall desserts available for pre-order: pumpkin pie, apple pie, pecan pie, pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin roulade and carrot cake.

Nov. 4 
Charity for Change is hosting a premier event, Planting Seeds of Humanity, that features live entertainment from the Ben Allen Band. Guests will enjoy a VIP reception, live auction and entertainment.

The Housing Authority of the City of Fort Myers is hosting a Homebuyers Summit to provide participants with insights from industry professionals, real estate agents and mortgage lenders. Attendees will explore a range of properties on the market and learn about financing, negotiation strategies and home inspection essentials.

Nov. 5 
The Harold’s Place 41st Annual Thomas McMurray Golf Invitational includes golf at Naples Hibiscus Golf Club, as well as a box lunch and a T-bone steak dinner after the round. Proceeds benefit NAMI Collier.

Nov. 5 
The Catholic-Jewish Dialogue of Collier County hosts its annual Kristallnacht (“Night of Broken Glass”) commemoration marking the start of the Holocaust. The event is sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Greater Naples and the Diocese of Venice and is free and open to the public, with advance registration requested..

Nov. 7 & 17 
Senior Choice at Home is set to host two “Dine and Discover” luncheons in November for independent older adults who would like to stay in their homes as they age. The innovative membership-based long-term care program provides healthy seniors with coordinated lifetime health care services while they age at home.

Nov. 8 
Business, community and philanthropic leaders will convene for the official kickoff to the 2023-24 fundraising campaign that supports United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades. The nonprofit will recognize Pacesetter organizations, announce campaign goals and outline initial fundraising success.

Nov. 10-12 
Sunshine Ace Hardware will host three-day Holiday Open House events at its Bonita Springs and Largo stores, which each offer a vast selection of gifts and holiday décor. Guests will enjoy exclusive discounts and deals while browsing a festive wonderland of winter décor.

Nov. 10 
The 11th Annual Golisano Children’s Hospital Fashion Show includes a luncheon, auction and preview of the latest fashions. Proceeds will support the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Golisano Children’s Hospital.

Nov. 11 
Sea Salt Naples, which offers Venetian-inspired, ocean-centric cuisine, is celebrating its 15th anniversary by highlighting 15 local charitable organizations – one a day. On Nov. 11, the restaurant will donate 15% of proceeds from lunch and dinner services to Guadalupe Center, a nonprofit education provider in Immokalee.

Nov. 11 
The 6th Annual Solid Waste Golf Tournament includes a round at Cape Royal Golf Club, a silent auction, lunch and awards ceremony. Event proceeds benefit United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades.

The Wonder Gardens is hosting its 3rd Annual Pictures with Santa event that provides families with a 10-minute block to take holiday photos with Santa Claus.

Better Together’s Church Partner Job Fair Training in Fort Myers offers an introduction to a comprehensive set of steps that church families can take to create job fairs in their communities.

Nov. 14 
The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce’s November luncheon will be held at Plantation Golf & Country Club. It includes a celebration of the Leadership Fort Myers Class of 2023. Carrie LaDue from Limitless Business is the keynote speaker.

Nov. 15-17 
Bigham Jewelers is hosting a multi-vendor trunk show that features diamond pieces from the Bigham Signature collection, as well as handcrafted jewelry from multi-generational Italian jewelers that are not regularly featured in the Galleria.

Nov. 16 
Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties is hosting an online homeownership information meeting over Zoom to explain Habitat’s affordable housing program and outline steps to homeownership. This session will be conducted in Spanish.

Nov. 17

Sunshine Ace Hardware is kicking off the fall feasting season with outdoor “Thanksgrilling” parties at a dozen retail stores across the region. The family-friendly community event offers culinary inspiration – and tasty samples – for those seeking alternatives to the traditional (and sometimes bland), oven-roasted Thanksgiving turkey and uninspired side dishes.

Nov. 18

Nov. 20-22 and 24-26 
Men’s and women’s college basketball teams will be descending on Southwest Florida for the annual Gulf Coast Showcase at Hertz Arena. The men’s bracket is highlighted by 2023 NCAA Tournament teams Iona and Louisiana, while national runner-up Iowa headlines the women’s event. Proceeds support Golisano Children’s Hospital.

Nov. 30 
Business Before Breakfast, a monthly networking session with light refreshments, will include a brief presentation and tour by the event host. Early rising guests are encouraged to bring business cards.
