Every month, Priority Marketing’s clients and partners host a wide range of special events, seminars, workshops, activities and fundraising opportunities. Check out the list of client events in March 2024.

BBQ, Bands & Brew 

Date: March 24 

Description

Lee BIA Builders Care’s 13th annual BBQ, Bands & Brew at Centennial Park features a day of live music performances – including headliner Ben Allen Band – while Southwest Florida’s top pitmasters compete for the title of “Best BBQ in Town.” With fun-filled activities for all ages, a cornhole tournament, a rock-climbing wall, children’s play area with face-painting, games and more, the event supports Builders Care’s mission to provide emergency construction services at no cost to needy and deserving elderly and/or disabled homeowners.

ADDITIONAL CLIENT EVENTS IN MARCH 2024 

Molded Chocolate Class 

March 1 

Norman Love Confections will host a molded chocolate class perfect for individuals or groups who want to learn the art of making chocolates, including hand coloring and casting liquid chocolates. Students will create these treats with the guidance of master chocolatiers, and then bring their finished treasures home to enjoy.

Jewish Book Festival 

March 1, 7 & 26 

The Jewish Federation of Greater Naples’ 2023-24 Jewish Book Festival, which showcases Jewish authors and books to enrich and engage the community, continues with discussions led by Martha Hall Kelly (author of The Golden Doves), Jonathan Freedland (author of The Escape Artist: The Man Who Broke Out of Auschwitz to Warn the World) and Ben Nadler (author of The Jewish Deli: An Illustrated Guide to the Chosen Food).

Women in Business 

March 6  

The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce’s Women in Business Committee is hosting its monthly networking event. Attendees are encouraged to bring business cards.

Better Together Job Fair 

March 7 

Better Together is partnering with Estero Church for a community job fair that connects hiring employers and job seekers. Free one-on-one job coaching sessions are available that include resume reviews and polishing interviewing skills.

Habitat Chats 

March 7, 14, 21 & 28 

Habitat Chats are a new and interactive way guests can learn about the animals at the Wonder Gardens, including diet, conservations efforts and other facts.

2024 Elliott Katz Lecture Series 

March 8, 22 & 29 

The Elliott Katz 2024 Lecture Series continues with three final presentations in March. The March 8 event, “The Black Experience Under the Swastika,” the March 22 event, “The New York Times: It Never Learns” and March 29 event, “Saluting America and the American Soldier,” will be held at the Jewish Federation of Greater Naples’ Nina Iser Jewish Cultural Center.

Runway for Education Fashion Show 

March 10 

Guadalupe Resale Shop is pulling high-end fashions and accessories directly from the showroom floor for its annual “Runway for Education” fashion show. Attendees will enjoy light refreshments, a raffle and VIP access to a post-show private sale.

March Chamber Luncheon 

March 12 

The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce’s monthly luncheon will feature a special presentation from Aysegul Timur, president of Florida Gulf Coast University.

Lee Health Cancer Institute Fashion Show 

March 12 

The Lee Health Foundation’s Fashion Show & Luncheon in Fort Myers will showcase the latest styles while benefiting the cancer care program at Lee Health Cancer Institute. Fashions are provided by local retailers and models will be community members and cancer survivors. The foundation also will honor several individuals with a Cancer Care Hero award. Priority Marketing is proud to sponsor the event and help present the Big Heart Award to a local cancer survivor who has given back to our community.

Market Trends of Southwest Florida 

March 12 

Now sold out, Market Trends is a real estate summit that explores the latest market trends data, research and fact-based analysis, and how those factors will impact the big picture for homeowners, homebuyers, real estate professionals and the region. In 2024, the theme is “Ignorance is Bliss Until it Isn’t.” Southwest Florida’s top real estate experts will lead a state-of-the-industry discussion.

Dine and Discover 

March 12 & 25 

Senior Choice at Home is hosting a pair of Dine and Discover seminars on Sanibel Island that include lunch, an informative presentation and a Q&A session for healthy, proactive and independent seniors who wish to age in their homes.

Online Homeownership Information Meeting 

March 13 

Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties is hosting an online homeownership information meeting over Zoom to explain Habitat’s affordable housing program and outline steps to homeownership. This session will be conducted in Spanish.

40 Hours of REAL Impact 

March 13-14 

Guadalupe Center is hosting “40 Hours of REAL Impact,” a storytelling and giving marathon that illuminates the education-based nonprofit’s 40-year history in Immokalee. The event spotlights stories of success and testimonials from current and former students, as well as parents, supporters, mentors, teachers and staff.

Evening at the Ballpark 

March 14 

Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County’s Evening at the Ballpark at JetBlue Park includes appetizers, drinks, activities and games, along with autographs from current Red Sox players and photos with World Series trophies. Then, guests will move inside the stadium for a memorabilia auction, dinner and a Baseball Legends Panel featuring some of the game’s greatest athletes.

SanCap Cares Island Celebration 

March 14 

The 24th annual SanCap Cares Island Celebration, which will support Golisano Children’s Hospital and its new pediatric surgery center, will feature the Bay Kings Band, dancing, cocktails, dinner and a silent auction.

Pub Experience  

March 15 

The luck of the Irish will make its way to Gulf Coast Village for a St. Patrick’s Day party for current and prospective residents. Guests will enjoy an informational presentation followed by a party featuring live music, a shamrockin’ good time and, of course, beer.

St. Patrick’s Day Party at Fort Myers Brewing 

March 15-17 

Fort Myers Brewing Company is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day all weekend long with a three-day party March 15-17. Throughout the weekend, guests can expect specialty beer releases – ranging from an Irish Red Ale to a green seltzer slushie – as well as dishes from various food trucks, a variety of live performances and festivities for families, friends and pets to enjoy.

Chocolate Egg Class 

March 15 & 22 

Norman Love Confections will host an Easter egg class that allows attendees to create their own chocolate sculpture filled with delicious Swiss milk truffles. Chocolatiers will guide students as they hand-paint, cast and assemble chocolate eggs.

Scope for Hope 5K 

March 16 

Partners in Care will host its 13th annual Scope for Hope 10K Run, 5K Run, 2-Mile Walk and Kid’s Fun Run at Jaycee Park to raise money for colorectal cancer education, screening and treatment in Southwest Florida.

Global Food and Farm Festival 

March 16-22 

ECHO’s Global Food and Farm Festival offers property tours, experiences, on-stage cooking shows, interactive demonstration, tastings and workshops geared for the whole family.

Dinner on the Diamond 

March 19 

The final event of the Red Sox Event Series, Dinner on the Diamond at JetBlue Park, is a family-friendly event that includes dinner, Red Sox celebrity appearances, autograph signings, a silent auction of sports memorabilia and other surprises.

Sound Minds Celebration 

March 21 

David Lawrence Centers’ signature event, Sound Minds includes a social hour, live music and a captivating discussion led by actress, model, author and entrepreneur Brooke Shields.

Online Homeownership Information Meeting  

March 23

Wild World of Wonders Family Club 

March 24 

Wonder Gardens is offering the Wild World of Wonders Family Club designed to increase environmental awareness. This month’s session, “Pollinator’s Paradise,” includes discovering the many pollinators at Wonder Gardens and the plants they prefer, learning about the workings of a hive, tasting local honey and planting native plants to support pollinators.

Wild World of Wonders Family Club 

March 24 

Children (6-9 years) and a parent or supervising adult will meet on the fourth Sunday morning of each month to build a connection with the local and exotic wildlife that call Wonder Gardens home.

Doing Good Together 

March 26 

Better Together’s annual reception celebrates the community – volunteers, donors and partners – who power the success of Better Together’s programs, which are designed to keep families strong and children out of foster care. Light refreshments will be served.

Bourbon & Bubbly 

March 27 

The Lee Health Foundations Bourbon & Bubbly event will take attendees back to the glitz and glam of the 1920s in support of Golisano Children’s Hospital and its new pediatric surgery center. Guests will celebrate the spirit of a bygone era with bourbon, bubbly and benevolence while ensuring access to exceptional, compassionate health care closer to home.

Business Before Breakfast 

March 28 

Business Before Breakfast, a monthly networking session with light refreshments, will include a brief presentation by the event host, First Horizon. Early rising guests are encouraged to bring business cards.
