Lee BIA Builders Care’s 13th annual BBQ, Bands & Brew at Centennial Park features a day of live music performances – including headliner Ben Allen Band – while Southwest Florida’s top pitmasters compete for the title of “Best BBQ in Town.” With fun-filled activities for all ages, a cornhole tournament, a rock-climbing wall, children’s play area with face-painting, games and more, the event supports Builders Care’s mission to provide emergency construction services at no cost to needy and deserving elderly and/or disabled homeowners.

Molded Chocolate Class
March 1
Norman Love Confections will host a molded chocolate class perfect for individuals or groups who want to learn the art of making chocolates, including hand coloring and casting liquid chocolates. Students will create these treats with the guidance of master chocolatiers, and then bring their finished treasures home to enjoy.

Jewish Book Festival

The Jewish Federation of Greater Naples’ 2023-24 Jewish Book Festival, which showcases Jewish authors and books to enrich and engage the community, continues with discussions led by Martha Hall Kelly (author of The Golden Doves), Jonathan Freedland (author of The Escape Artist: The Man Who Broke Out of Auschwitz to Warn the World) and Ben Nadler (author of The Jewish Deli: An Illustrated Guide to the Chosen Food).

Better Together is partnering with Estero Church for a community job fair that connects hiring employers and job seekers. Free one-on-one job coaching sessions are available that include resume reviews and polishing interviewing skills.

2024 Elliott Katz Lecture Series

The Elliott Katz 2024 Lecture Series continues with three final presentations in March. The March 8 event, “The Black Experience Under the Swastika,” the March 22 event, “The New York Times: It Never Learns” and March 29 event, “Saluting America and the American Soldier,” will be held at the Jewish Federation of Greater Naples’ Nina Iser Jewish Cultural Center.

Runway for Education Fashion Show

Lee Health Cancer Institute Fashion Show

The Lee Health Foundation’s Fashion Show & Luncheon in Fort Myers will showcase the latest styles while benefiting the cancer care program at Lee Health Cancer Institute. Fashions are provided by local retailers and models will be community members and cancer survivors. The foundation also will honor several individuals with a Cancer Care Hero award. Priority Marketing is proud to sponsor the event and help present the Big Heart Award to a local cancer survivor who has given back to our community.

Guadalupe Center is hosting “40 Hours of REAL Impact,” a storytelling and giving marathon that illuminates the education-based nonprofit’s 40-year history in Immokalee. Evening at the Ballpark

Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County’s Evening at the Ballpark at JetBlue Park includes appetizers, drinks, activities and games, along with autographs from current Red Sox players and photos with World Series trophies. Then, guests will move inside the stadium for a memorabilia auction, dinner and a Baseball Legends Panel featuring some of the game’s greatest athletes.

SanCap Cares Island Celebration

Fort Myers Brewing Company is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day all weekend long with a three-day party March 15-17. Throughout the weekend, guests can expect specialty beer releases – ranging from an Irish Red Ale to a green seltzer slushie – as well as dishes from various food trucks, a variety of live performances and festivities for families, friends and pets to enjoy.

Chocolate Egg Class
