Summer Beer Fest 

Client Events in June 2023 - Fort Myers Brewing's Summer Beer FestDates: June 15-18 
Location: Fort Myers Brewing, 12811 Commerce Lakes Drive, Suite 28, Fort Myers 
Event Description: Fort Myers Brewing Company’s four-day Summer Beer Fest will feature live music, food trucks and more than 50 specialty beers. A wide selection of locally brewed ales, stouts and lagers will be on tap throughout the weekend. Food truck rallies will feature eats from popular trucks such as Wicked Streatery, Kings Tacos & Burritos, Vesuvius Wood Fired Pizza, Mambo and Mobstah Lobstah. Live performances will take place throughout the weekend featuring Chasing Denver, Rock Republic, The Rowdy Bards and more. Anhorn Entertainment will be at the brewery every day with caricature entertainment.

June 2 
Esteemed chocolatier Norman Love and his award-winning team of pastry chefs at Norman Love Confections are focusing this cooking class on chocolate truffles and the 100-year-old art of truffle making. From the luscious hand-formed dark chocolate to the modern Swiss chocolate shell, create these treats with the guidance of chocolatiers.

Gulf Coast Village’s complimentary Linger over Lunch event introduces prospective residents and their loved ones to Cape Coral’s premier Continuing Care Retirement Community, which offers luxury living, exceptional health care services and a vibrant social scene.

On National Best Friends Day, buy a burger at Mel’s Diner locations in Southwest Florida to benefit Barbara’s Friends-Golisano Children’s Hospital Cancer Fund to help children with cancer.

Senior Choice at Home is hosting a pair of educational luncheons in Naples to outline a program that offers healthy, independent seniors an opportunity to age at home with the security of knowing they have a team of support behind them.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County will begin the Summer Enrichment Program, which features field trips, hands-on STEM projects, arts and crafts, team-building exercises, activity challenges, sports, talent shows, guest speakers and academic-based classes covering marine life, safety, nutrition and other topics.

June 16 
Esteemed chocolatier Norman Love and his award-winning team of pastry chefs at Norman Love Confections are focusing this cooking class on molded chocolates. Participants will learn hand coloring to casting liquid chocolate and mixing custom ganaches to fill candies.

Family Initiative is providing free autism screenings by appointment for children ages 1-3. The early assessment measures a child’s progress toward milestones in terms of how they play, learn, speak and act.

The Lee County Black History Society is hosting its annual Juneteenth Community Festival at Roberto Clemente Park in Fort Myers. Attendees will enjoy stage performances, games, a bounce house, food and drinks, a DJ and local vendors.

June 20 
Leadership Fort Myers graduates are having a reunion at TopGolf that includes networking opportunities, golf and fellowship at one of Southwest Florida’s trending entertainment venues.

Jewish Federation of Greater Naples is hosting the Israeli Scout Friendship Caravan. The touring troupe of Israeli teens will perform an interactive show with singing and dancing from 7-8:30 p.m.

Pace Center for Girls, Lee is offering its Pathways to Path educational program, which includes an overview from Executive Director Jenny Cellitti and board members, along with a facility tour and opportunity to hear about Pace’s impact directly from a Pace girl.

Amateur card sharks are invited to Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County’s 11th Annual No Limit Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament, which will feature spirited poker games, food, drinks and raffle prizes.

The Jewish Federation of Greater Naples is kicking off its four-month 2023 Summer Book Discussion with Sally Koslow, author of The Real Mrs. Tobias. Participants are encouraged to read the book in advance and ask questions during the one-hour event.

Business Before Breakfast, a monthly networking session with light refreshments, will be held at Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU) near Gulf Coast Town Center in south Lee County. Early rising guests are encouraged to bring business cards.
