Fort Myers Brewing will host a four-day Summer Beer Fest that features specialty beers, food truck rallies, live music, hula dancers and more. The annual Summer Beer Fest is one of Southwest Florida’s top summer events and showcases the region’s thriving craft beer and foodie culture.
Established in 2013, Fort Myers Brewing Company was the first microbrewery to open in Lee County and continues to lead Southwest Florida’s surging craft beer movement. Founded by Rob and Jen Whyte, Fort Myers Brewing carries a signature line of flagship beers in addition to seasonal brews and small batch specialties. Its ales, pilsners, stouts, IPAs and hard seltzers are winners of multiple prestigious awards, and its beers are poured at 1,041 locations, including 620 bars and restaurants, and are available for purchase in 421 retail outlets, including grocery, package and convenience stores.
The Summer Beer Fest will be held at the brewery: 12811 Commerce Lakes Drive, Suite 28, in Fort Myers.

June 1: Women in Business, a committee of the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce, will host its monthly networking session at Sanibel Captiva Community Bank in Fort Myers. The event will showcase the work of the Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau. Light refreshments will be served and guests are encouraged to bring business cards. LINK: Women in Business
June 2-4: Lee BIA Builders Care’s three-day Bricks & Sticks Fishing Tournament features a Captain’s Dinner on day one, Cocktail Party on day two and the fishing tournament and awards dinner on day three. LINK: Bricks & Sticks
June 3: The Fort Myers Mighty Mussels are offering free tickets to all Southwest Florida children and teens as part of the School’s Out Celebration. Postgame fireworks begin immediately after the final out. LINK: School’s Out Celebration
June 3 & 14: Senior Choice at Home is hosting a pair of informative luncheon seminars at Tiburon in Naples that outline an innovative, member-based program for independent, healthy older adults. Senior Choice at Home provides a lifelong commitment to care, asset protection and the ability to receive individualized care coordination, all from the comforts of their own home. June 4: The Conservancy of Southwest Florida’s von Arx Wildlife Hospital, which treats injured, sick and orphaned animals, is hosting a virtual Wildlife Hospital Baby Shower to help raise awareness and support for its youngest patients. June 5: Vibe Yoga will be leading a pregame yoga session on the field prior to the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels game. Special ticket offers include both yoga and the baseball game. LINK: Yoga at the Ballpark
June 6: The Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County has expanded its Summer Enrichment Program to include seven locations, including new sites in Fort Myers and Cape Coral. Programs are available for youth ages six through 18 and start June 6. LINK: Summer Enrichment Program
June 6: The Wonder Gardens in Bonita Springs is hosting weekly “Camp Wonder” summer camp sessions offering educational wildlife experiences, hands-on activities and science exploration. Each week includes a spotlight topic and behind-the-scenes experiences. LINK: Camp Wonder

June 7: Leadership NEXT, a monthly program for advancing business professionals, will focus on “Judges and Lawyers: Exploring Careers in Justice.” Monthly sessions offer opportunities to develop new knowledge and skills, establish working relationships with colleagues, and engage in valuable programs and discussions that enhance careers. June 18: The Lee County Black History Society is hosting its 10th Annual Juneteenth Community Celebration at Roberto Clemente Park. The family-friendly event includes stage performances, music, arts and crafts, food and refreshments. Attendees will also have an opportunity to receive free information from community businesses in the areas of wealth, health, education, job training, employment, housing, corporate and governmental services and more. June 23: Pace Center for Girls, Lee will celebrate the next Love That Dress! collection event at the Rachel Pierce Art Gallery on Sanibel Island.
