Independence Day Celebrations
Fort Myers Mighty Mussels’ Independence Day Celebration
The Mighty Mussels’ holiday celebration includes a Fourth of July Family Picnic Special, fireworks extravaganza and classic all-American eats. The postgame fireworks extravaganza will be the longest, largest and loudest pyrotechnics show of the 2025 baseball season. Concessions will be offering a variety of Independence Day-themed sweet treats, including Stars & Sprinkles Soft Serve, Rocket Pops, Stars and Stripes ICEEs (a red and blue ICEE with vanilla ice cream), Rainbow Dippin’ Dots, a Freedom Fizz Shirley Temple and a Yankee Doodle Bar-B-Que special that includes BBQ chicken, baked beans and coleslaw.

South Seas Star-Spangled Celebration
South Seas’ three-day Independence Weekend celebration features a wide variety of events, activities and food and drink options available to Club Captiva and registered South Seas Resort guests. Friday’s activities include a Kid’s Fishing Tournament, Watermelon Eating Contest, live music, a Patriotic Resort Cart Parade and fireworks. Saturday’s events include a Turtle Trot and One-Mile Fun Run/Walk, Patriotic Turtle Craft, Rubber Ducky Race and Beach Party. Sunday’s activities include Build-a-Beach-Buddy, Jumbo Beach Volleyball and Bingo.

Bay Street Yard’s Fourth of July Party
Bay Street Yard is pulling out all the patriotic stops with festive food and drink specials – including red, white and blue Jell-O shots – live music and street-side grilling of hot dogs and burgers. Guests can also savor full menus from Bay Street Butcher and Rick’s Taco Cartel. Party-goers can enjoy live entertainment by Conyer Walker, AVYA Live and DELIA, as well as outdoor games such as cornhole, ping pong and more. The outdoor destination is just steps from the Caloosahatchee River for views of the annual downtown Fort Myers fireworks display.

Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach’s 4th of July on Fort Myers Beach
Margaritaville is offering nonstop fun for the holiday weekend that includes front row seats to a parade and fireworks show. The weekend kicks off Thirsty Thursday with DJs and live music. On Friday, the town’s Independence Day Parade passes the resort before a festive Red, White & Blue Pool Party at Fins Up! Beach Club, then guests can enjoy DJs, live music and the community’s fireworks show over the gulf. Saturday features more DJs and live music.

Fourth of July weekend at Brightwater Lagoon
Brightwater Lagoon is inviting the community to celebrate Independence Day the “lagoon life” way with clear blue water, sandy beaches and a weekend filled with patriotic fun for the whole family. Throughout the holiday weekend, guests can enjoy live music, great food from the lagoon’s onsite food trucks as well as a specialty Independence Day-themed cocktail – the Red, White & Booze – a patriotic fusion of frozen strawberry daiquiri, pina colada and a splash of blue curacao.

Slipaway Food Truck Park & Marina’s inaugural Fourth of July Bash

The Naples Art District is hosting summer Open Studios from 1 to 5 p.m. Meet and greet artists in their studio and gallery settings, watch art in the making and shop a wide variety of original art at this free community event in Naples.

Brightwater Lagoon invites you to sit back and relax with an evening of fine cigars, delicious drinks and great company with Cigar Night from 8 to 10 p.m. Hosted in partnership with Toast Cigar Bar, guests can enjoy cigars with live music, food, drinks and Brightwater’s tropical paradise vibe. Whether a seasoned connoisseur or new to the cigar world, guests can enjoy guidance from onsite experts offering insights to flavor profiles, pairings and proper techniques.

The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce will announce winners of its 2025 Chamber Awards during a celebration of business success at the Caloosa Sound Convention Center. Categories include Small Business of the Year, Large Business of the Year, Community Impact Award, Entrepreneur of the Year, Nonprofit Excellence Award, Young Professional of the Year and Volunteer of the Year, along with the prestigious APEX Award.

Live music, great drinks, a silent auction and a cause worth showing up for! Join Bay Street Yard for An Evening with the Poelker Brothers & Dave Isaacs, proudly presented by DeAngelis Diamond Construction. Bay Street Yard is donating 20% of all beverage sales during the event to support Harry Chapin Food Bank – the largest hunger-relief nonprofit in Southwest Florida.
