July 6: Shangri-La Springs is hosting a Garden Tea Party that includes a guided garden tour, tea-drinking time and light hors d’oeuvres. Each guest will receive a reusable tea mug. LINK: Garden Tea Party 

July 7: The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce’s Women in Business Committee will host a panel offering tips on starting a new business or jumpstarting an existing business. Community Cooperative - School's Out, Hunger's NotJuly 8 & 14: Community Cooperative is hosting a pair of collections through its “School’s Out, Hunger’s Not” campaign. Supporters can donate non-perishable food on July 8 at LYNQ in Fort Myers or July 14 at Nevermind in Cape Coral and receive a special gift from the restaurants. LINK: School’s Out, Hunger’s Not 

July 8 & 16: Senior Choice at Home is hosting two Dine & Discover sessions to explain how healthy older adults can enjoy freedom, a lifelong commitment to care, asset protection and individual care coordination as needs change. LINK: Dine & Discover

July 13: The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce is offering a workshop that allows business leaders to learn more about the profile of today’s FGCU graduate. The summer workshop series shows businesses how to attract graduates to positions and retain local talent. LINK: FGCU Recruitment 

July 13: Leadership NEXT, a networking and educational opportunity through the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce, will explore development activities on Fort Myers Beach. July 28: Chef Anthony Bonanni at Gulf Coast Village will take local foodies on a culinary trip to France as he leads participants through fun cooking demonstrations while providing a sampling of unparalleled epicurean adventures that residents enjoy every day. France is the seventh stop in this international cooking series.
