CLIENT EVENTS - Everglades Coalition Conference

Every month, Priority Marketing’s clients and partners host a wide range of special events, seminars, workshops, activities and fundraising opportunities. Check out the list of client events in January 2026. Each of the events listed is open to the public; some are free events, while others require tickets or RSVPs.

Date: Jan. 28-30 

Event Name: Everglades Coalition Conference 

Description: The 41st annual Everglades Coalition Conference will bring together conservation groups, elected officials, business leaders, scientists and students, as well as local, state, tribal and federal partners, to engage in meaningful dialogue about restoring America’s Everglades. It is recognized nationally as the largest forum for discussing Everglades restoration progress, challenges and opportunities. 

This year’s event is being held at the Naples Grande Beach Resort. The host sponsor is Conservancy of Southwest Florida

Topics of conference sessions include the impacts of residential and commercial growth, threats to federal protections, accountability, Lake Okeechobee’s future, Everglades watersheds, economic benefits of smart growth and conservation, Florida panther recovery, movements rooted in art and more.

Jan. 1 

Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach will host a “Hair of the Dog” brunch on New Year’s Day.  Watch all the big football games on multiple screens around the resort during brunch, featuring classic favorites and refreshing cocktails designed to cure the holiday haze. Open to the public with no reservations required.

Jan. 14 

Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties is hosting a Financial Education Workshop focused on escrows. Participants will learn about escrow accounts and the impact that property taxes and rising insurance premiums can have on monthly mortgage payments.

Jan. 15 

Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach will host an exclusive Bourbon Dinner at JWB Grill. Kick off 2026 with an extraordinary culinary experience, where JWB Grill chefs and mixologists craft a four-course menu inspired by the bold, nuanced flavors of America’s favorite spirit. Reservations required.

Jan. 15 

Better Together is hosting a community job fair for Southwest Florida residents from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Christ Community Church in Fort Myers. The event is free, but job seekers are required to RSVP.

Jan. 16

The Lee County Bar Association will host a Swearing-in Ceremony for all qualified bar applicants. Held at the Old Lee County Courthouse, the event is open to members and guests, and includes hors d’oeuvres and beverages in the foyer of chambers.

Jan. 20-Feb. 27 

The School District of Lee County’s open enrollment period for the 2026-27 academic year offers opportunities for parents of incoming kindergartners, sixth-graders and ninth-graders to register through the Focus Parent Portal. The system allows parents to review their child’s education options and rank schools by personal preference.

Jan. 21 

Bay Street Yard is hosting its inaugural “Charitable Pour,” a bourbon pairing dinner benefiting 4KIDS. Guests will enjoy a four-course chef-crafted menu expertly paired with bourbons, live cigar rolling, raffle prizes and live music.

Jan. 24 

Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties has scheduled an in-person Homeowner Education Workshop provided by a HUD-approved housing counseling agency. The session aims to provide confidence and knowledge to help attendees make smart, informed decisions on their journey to homeownership.

Jan. 24-25 

Sunshine Ace Hardware at Pelican Bay in Naples is hosting a two-day Grand Opening Celebration that features grilling parties, giveaways, and music from DJs and a live band.

Wonder Gardens is celebrating 90 years of Wonder in 2026! The gala will feature sumptuous bites, live entertainment, animal encounters, mystery auction items and a special wine pull.
