Every month, Priority Marketing’s clients and partners host a wide range of special events, seminars, workshops, activities and fundraising opportunities. Check out the list of client events in February 2023.

Reel in the Sunshine Fishing Expo 

Client Events - Sunshine Ace Hardware's Reel in the SunshineDate: Feb. 4 
Location: Sunshine Ace Hardware, 9100 Bonita Beach Road, Bonita Springs, FL 34135 
Time: 8 a.m. to noon 
Description: Reel in the Sunshine is a free community event aimed at recreational and beginning anglers. The event features vendor-led product demonstrations, hot-off-the-grill BBQ samples prepared by Sunshine Ace’s grill masters, numerous giveaways and exclusive discounts on fishing gear and apparel only available during the event. Local fishing guides and boat captains will lead interactive seminars and discussions, sharing expertise about local waterways and top fishing spots, what types of bait to use and techniques for a successful day on the water. Admission is free, but guests can participate in a raffle and charity luncheon to support Captains for Clean Water

Norman Love Confections’ 2023 Valentine’s Day Collection 

Date: Through Feb. 14 
Location: Online and at chocolate salons in Fort Myers, Naples, Estero and Sarasota 
Description: This Valentine’s Day, give your valentine the gift of ultra-premium, hand-crafted chocolates. The 2023 Valentine’s Day limited-edition collection features 10 heart-shaped dark, white and milk chocolates, including Mimosa, Lemon Bar, Vanilla Rum, Manjari, Raspberry Rose, Coconut Cream Pie, Pinot Noir, Coffee Caramel, Red Hot and Caramelia. Additionally, Norman Love Confections offers a variety of gourmet specialty desserts in retail locations, including chocolate-covered strawberries and a selection of artisan pastries, gelato and beautifully packaged gifts.

Feb. 1 
The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce’s Women in Business Committee will spread the love at its annual Sweethearts & Scholarships fundraiser at HeadPinz Entertainment Center. In addition to networking, attendees can bid on prizes, including desserts, wines, wine-related items and more.

Feb. 2 
Elite Jets is hosting Cars on Fifth’s Jetport Reception, which features exotic cars, jets, cigars, cocktails and more to benefit St. Matthew’s House. The event includes an inspiring program and opportunities to contribute to programs that help people take their life back from addiction, homelessness and hunger.

Feb. 7 
Gulf Coast Village is hosting a luncheon covering the benefits of the retirement community’s carefree lifestyle. The session will include a discussion about senior living community contracts.

Senior Choice at Home is hosting a pair of luncheon events that explore 10 reasons why healthy older adults are joining an innovative, member-based program that provides a lifelong commitment to care, asset protection and the ability to receive individualized care coordination, all from the comforts of their own home.

Feb. 10 
The Industry Appreciation Awards program will celebrate Lee County businesses that drive the local economy, employ our workforce and shape their industries. Award categories include Innovator of the Year, Manufacturer of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Large Business of the Year, Technology Award and Inclusion & Diversity Award.

Feb. 15 
Boys & Girls Club of Collier County will recognize 10 inspiring teens at Youth of the Year, a premier recognition program that honors student members who exemplify the virtues of good character, academic excellence, community service and strong leadership.

Feb. 15 
Drivers 55 and older can attend AAA’s Defensive Driver Course at Gulf Coast Village, held in partnership with Senior Choice at Home. The class covers tips and techniques to drive defensively, and safely, in a variety of situations. Lunch and door prizes are available.

Feb. 16 
Business Before Breakfast, a monthly networking session with light refreshments, will be held at White Sands Treatment Center in Fort Myers. Guests are encouraged to bring business cards.

Guests at the 7th Annual Enchanted Gala, “Whiskers on the River,” will enjoy the beautifully lit garden, interact with ambassador animals and exhibits, enjoy a fantastic meal, and hear an engaging program about the Wonder Gardens while bidding on exciting experiences and unique items.

Feb. 16 
The 30th Annual Red Sox Celebrity Classic starts with a “Tee Party,” an evening of food, cocktails and more, to benefit the Lee Health Foundation and Golisano Children’s Hospital. There also is a chance to bid on live and silent auction packages.

Feb. 17 
The Minnesota Twins Celebrity Golf Classic allows participants to meet and mingle with Twins personnel in a new tournament concept at Topgolf while enjoying food, beverages and music from climate-controlled hitting bays.

The 30th Annual Boston Red Sox Celebrity Golf Classic offers participants an opportunity to play a round of golf alongside baseball players, alumni and other celebrities.

The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce is offering an inside look at spring training, professional baseball and the impact on Southwest Florida with guests from the Minnesota Twins and Boston Red Sox.

Fort Myers Brewing is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a four-day festival that includes a rotation of craft brews, food trucks and live music.

Sanibel Captiva Trust Company’s 2023 Fort Myers speaker series continues with “The Invisible Patient,” a session led by senior care advisor and caregiver advocate Annalee Kruger, who will speak about how caregivers can fulfill their role without losing themselves in the process.
