Jimmy Buffet Day at Margaritaville
Date: Aug. 30-Sept. 2
Description: Florida is honoring the legacy of Jimmy Buffet with a statewide Jimmy Buffet Day on Aug. 30. The day is meant as a tribute to the late musician’s generous heart and laid-back lifestyle.
Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach and Compass Hotel by Margaritaville Naples are celebrating with a four-day “Keep the Party Going” event that continues the fun, festivities and philanthropy through Labor Day weekend. Events includes live music, food and drink specials, games and contests, and special entertainment. Guests will have opportunities to hold an exotic bird, test their Jimmy Buffett trivia and watch the entertainer’s music videos on the big screen under the stars.
Additionally, to honor Buffett’s philanthropic initiatives, Margaritaville will offer special Jimmy Buffet Day swag and donate 15% of sales to his Singing for Change charitable foundation for the entire holiday weekend.
