Things to do: Client events in April 2025 

Every month, Priority Marketing’s clients and partners host a wide range of special events, seminars, workshops, activities and fundraising opportunities. Check out the list of client events in April 2025. Each of the events listed is open to the public; some are free events, while others require tickets or RSVPs.

April 12 

Earth Day Celebrations 

The Conservancy of Southwest Florida’s annual Earth Day Festival is a free, family-friendly event featuring new activities, games, exhibits, vendors and more. Attendees can learn more about the environment, make a craft, take a boat ride and encounter an animal. 

TIME: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Wonder Gardens’ Early Earth Day Celebration is geared toward families and elementary-aged youth and features close-up animal interactions, arts and crafts, habitat chats, face painting, photo opportunities, community partners and more. 

TIME: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

COST: Included with regular price of admission

The Women in Business Committee of the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce is hosting its second annual Wine Pull by the Pool fundraiser that includes networking opportunities, a 50/50 raffle and other raffle prizes from local businesses.

The 2024-25 Jewish Book Festival, an initiative of the Jewish Federation of Greater Naples, concludes with one discussion in April: “The Joy of Costco” by David and Susan Schwartz. The series seeks to enrich, entertain and engage members of the community.

April 5 

Lee Health Foundation is hosting a Parkinson’s Wellness Walk at Lee Health Sports Complex to benefit the Lee Health Parkinson’s Program. After crossing the finish line, participants can enjoy popcorn, hot dogs and cotton candy while supporting individuals with Parkinson’s disease.

April 5 

Harry Chapin Food Bank is the beneficiary of the inaugural Taste of Gulf Coast Town Center, a new family-friendly food-centric event that features local restaurants and vendors. Attendees can bring food or monetary donations to earn raffle tickets for prizes donated by the center’s merchants.

April 6 

Cancer Alliance Network’s 11th annual YogaCAN Naples is an outdoor yoga fundraiser that supports the non-medical needs of Southwest Florida cancer patients. The event was created as an opportunity for family, friends and community members to support Jane Waltzer as she battled breast cancer, and the event continues to honor her legacy.

April 8-13 

The Fort Myers Mighty Mussels’ first homestand of the season features a multitude of fan-friendly promotions, highlighted by a country-themed fireworks show on Friday night and a special appearance from Australian sensations Bluey and Bingo.

The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce’s monthly luncheon offers insights on cybersecurity from Brandi Couse, co-owner and CEO of MashGrape Technologies. The conversation will explore 10 critical questions designed to help business leaders reassess and strengthen their cybersecurity posture.

Better Together’s virtual Better Families Volunteer Training showcases how volunteers can better serve families in the local community. Couples interested in hosting children are strongly encouraged to attend a session.

April 10-13 

810 Entertainment is rolling out the green carpet for The Masters, showcasing each round on big-screen TVs and offering opportunities for golfers to tee it up on virtual courses featured on the PGA Tour. The venue will broadcast Rounds 1-4 on big-screen TVs throughout the bar, restaurant and gaming areas, as well as the venue’s new video wall.

The Tommy Bohanon Foundation’s Playmakers Tailgate Party includes a pre-party featuring live music, a comedy set from R.C. Smith, scholarship awards, silent and live auctions, food and more to generate support for youth scholarships.

Senior Choice at Home will host Home Sweet Home at Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant in Fort Myers for seniors interested in aging at home. The event will include an informative presentation on the program, a complimentary lunch and a question-and-answer session for attendees.

Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach is launching a brand-new, weekly Sunday Brunch at JWB Grill. Resort guests and the public can enjoy a variety of sweet and savory brunch dishes, paired with stunning unobstructed views of the Gulf.

Gulf Coast Village is inviting retirees to a dynamic, information-packed workshop that will provide exclusive insights from industry experts on a variety of relevant topics, including current real estate market trends, stress-free downsizing and moving tips.

Beasley Media Group’s Cares 4 Kids Radiothon supports Golisano Children’s Hospital/Lee Health Foundation and features a full day of inspiring stories from patients, families and medical teams. Radio stations include B103.9, Sunny 106.3, 96k-rock and ESPN Sports Radio.

April 17 

The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce welcomes business leaders and community members to Business Unplugged, a casual networking event for chamber members and guests to make connections to expand their business and professional outlook. This session will be hosted at Alliance Financial Group of South Florida.

April 24 

Pace Center for Girls, Lee’s 17th annual Grande Dames Tea will honor three women – Ruby Hendley, Gail McClure and Donna Sublett – who exemplify the organization’s guiding principles and have made a significant impact through their roles in business, community and philanthropy. Honorees will share unique perspectives and powerful insights they gained throughout their life journeys.

Business Before Breakfast, a monthly networking session with light refreshments and hot coffee, has a theme of “What you do early today can improve all your tomorrows.” The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce program includes a brief presentation by event host Valerie’s House. Early rising guests are encouraged to bring business cards.

NAMI Collier County’s annual Hope Shines Walk, “Light the Way for Mental Health,” includes a lighted walk around Arthrex’ campus, live entertainment and family-friendly activities to bring awareness to the mental health needs of our community.

The School District of Lee County is hosting an in-person Teacher Recruitment Fair for passionate and talented individuals interested in becoming classroom teachers for the 2025-2026 school year.

Partners in Care’s 13th annual Head & Neck 10K and 5K Run/2-Mile Walk will start at Rotary Park in Cape Coral. Free head and neck cancer screenings will be offered at the event.

United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades is inviting supporters to its annual Swing into Spring event in LaBelle. Attendees will enjoy a chef-prepared meal, dessert and drinks, along with prizes, raffles and three types of auctions: live, silent and online.

Ocean Prime will host an exclusive culinary experience that includes a five-course chef-inspired menu curated by Executive Chef Vladimir Trivunovic paired with wine selections from Miner Family Winery host Jenn Rossi. The event will help guests deepen their appreciation for food and wine, making the evening not just a dinner but an educational experience.

Better Together’s Nationwide Day of Second Chances will bring churches, volunteers, businesses and nonprofits together to host job fairs promoting the power of second chances for neighbors who face barriers to employment, including past incarceration, homelessness, lack of transportation or child care, or gaps in employment. The Fort Myers event will be held at Riverside Church.

April 29 

Ocean Prime, Cameron Mitchell Restaurants’ dynamic seafood and steakhouse, is set to open on Tuesday, April 29, at Las Olas Marina in Fort Lauderdale. The two-story waterfront dining destination boasts 15,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor terrace seating, a private dining room for up to 32 guests, and stunning views of the Intracoastal waterway and the brand-new Las Olas Marina.
