The School District of Lee County, headquartered in Fort Myers, will participate in Florida A&M University’s multidiscipline internship and recruitment fair on March 6.
A growing school district with more than 96,000 students, The School District of Lee County is preparing to hire hundreds of new teachers in anticipation of the 2019-20 academic year. The District will be filling positions at the elementary, middle and high school levels, with a focus on hiring special education, elementary education, school counselors, science, mathematics, reading and language arts instructors.
FAMU’s Education, Health, Nursing and Social Sciences Career & Internship Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6 at the Alfred Lawson, Jr. Multipurpose Center and Teaching Gymnasium, 1800 Wahnish Way in Tallahassee. The fair is being presented by FAMU’s Career and Professional Development Center.
FAMU is advising participants to wear professional attire and bring copies of their resumes.
