The School District of Lee County is hosting its Spring Virtual Teacher Recruitment Fair on Saturday, April 20, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Principals and department hiring managers will be interviewing and hiring teachers, school psychologists, speech-language pathologists, school social workers and school counselors for the 2024-25 school year. High-demand positions include English, elementary education, science, math and special education.
Applicants can register at LeeSchools.net/Careers/Work_In_Lee and search 20240483 Pool- Spring Teacher Recruitment Fair. Registration will close on April 17.
The School District of Lee County is among the largest school districts in Florida and the United States with a growing enrollment of more than 99,000 students and 116 schools.
To be considered for a teaching position, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
• Hold a valid standard teaching certificate (Florida or out-of-state) OR
• Expected to graduate from a college of education by August 2024 OR
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in an area where certification can be obtained or any degree major and a passing score on a subject area exam
