Stevens Construction, a health care, hospitality and commercial construction manager has relocated into a new office at 801 N. Orange Ave., Suite 750 to accommodate its acceleration in the Orlando market, announced Troy Hernly, vice president central Florida.
Recent team additions include Michael Cavanaugh, Shawn Drake and Steven Spencer. As project manager, Cavanaugh ensures Stevens Construction projects achieve the client’s schedule, budget and quality goals. A graduate of Ferris State University, Cavanaugh brings 30 years of construction experience, including a $74 million, four-story tower and emergency department renovation for AdventHealth Waterman.
A graduate of Columbia Southern University, Drake brings 10 years of health care and senior care construction experience completing more than $440 million in construction. Drake joins Stevens Construction as project manager, leading multiple projects at Osceola Regional Medical Center.
Spencer joins Stevens Construction as superintendent with 15 years of health care and commercial construction experience. Earning his Healthcare Construction Certificate from the American Society of Healthcare Engineering, Spencer has an expertise working in occupied hospitals, specifically with Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) maintained projects.
Stevens Construction’s current central Florida projects include a 200 guestroom and common area renovation of a hotel, a multi-phased renovation of Osceola Regional Medical Center and renovations within multiple AdventHealth campuses.
