Spire Construction completes sitework, begins building for University of Nevada, Reno student housing development

Spire Construction has announced the completion of sitework and launch of building construction for a new student housing development at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Canyon Flats will be a four-story, 158-unit student housing project constructed on a podium slab that will house up to 508 students of the University of Nevada, Reno. Located at 661 N. Center St. in downtown Reno, the ‘L-shaped’ development will be conveniently positioned on the corner of East Sixth Street and North Center Street, across from the Circus Circus Reno hotel.

The premier student housing property is just 1,500 feet from the University of Nevada, Reno’s main entrance on North Center Street, offering students easy walking and biking access to both the main campus and downtown Reno.

Once complete, Canyon Flats will offer fully furnished one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom apartment plans, along with pet-friendly spaces, a rooftop deck with a pool, 24/7 fitness center, study rooms on every floor, coffee bar, cable and Wi-Fi, and covered parking.

As Spire Construction progresses with the Canyon Flats project, it’s clear that attention to detail and thoughtful design play crucial roles in creating exceptional living spaces. Similarly, custom home builders emphasize these elements when crafting bespoke residences tailored to individual needs and preferences.
