Sizzle Dining adds pop-up brunches and interactive chef lunch demos to 2024 event line-up

It’s a record-breaking year for Sizzle Dining with more than 110restaurants participating throughout Southwest Florida. Now, they’re turning up the heat even more by adding six one-of-a-kind brunches and four chef-led Sizzle & Savor lunch demonstrations to the lineup of dining opportunities.

Every Saturday and Sunday during Sizzle Dining, a different restaurant will host a pop-up themed brunch from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Hosted in part by local foodie influencer and founder of Brunch and Such, Cora Bolds, attendees will receive a two- or three-course prix-fixe brunch with a complimentary goodie bag and brunch cocktails for an additional fee.

The 2024 Sizzle Dining brunch schedule will begin on Saturday, Sept. 7 with a Fiesta themed brunch event at M’Xuma Tacos Mexican Grill located in Babcock Ranch. Save room for an Apérol Spritz themed Sunday brunch on Sept. 8 at The 239 Naples at Mercato.

On Saturday, Sept. 14, grab your gloves and fascinators for an English Tea Service themed brunch at Next Door in Cape Coral, followed by a Mama Mia Greek themed brunch on Sunday, Sept. 15 at Del Mar Naples.

The final weekend of Sizzle Dining brunch events features a Penthouse themed brunch on Saturday, Sept. 21 at The Beacon at Luminary Hotel in the 12-floor open-air restaurant and bar overlooking the Caloosahatchee River in Fort Myers. La Fontanella Ristorante in Bonita Springs will wrap up the Sizzle brunch series on Sunday, Sept. 22 with bottomless sangria and an Italian-themed brunch event.

Reservations are required for each pop-up brunch. Reserve your spot at SizzleDining.com/Brunch/. Tickets to join the event are $10, brunch is $29.

Take your Sizzle Dining lunch experience to the next level with an interactive chef-led lunch demo. From noon to 2 p.m. on select dates during Sizzle Dining, diners can enjoy a two hour, two-course lunch and wine pairing, plus Sizzle themed swag and the opportunity to learn from some of the best culinary leaders in Southwest Florida. Each ticket sold will feed a child for a week thanks to the efforts of Blessings in a Backpack of Southwest Florida.

Chef Brooke Kravetz, owner of Old Vines Mercato, will host the first lunch demo on Friday, Sept. 6. Guests can enjoy a glass of white or red wine with Torched Burrata with pomegranate, arugula and pistachios, and a Five-Spiced Salmon with parsnip puree, acorn squash, turnips and apples.

On Tuesday, Sept. 10, Chef Andy Hyde, owner of Hyde n Chic, will guide guests through an exclusive Sizzle lunch experience featuring his famous Wild Mushroom Bisque paired with a glass of 2022 Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio, and a favorite dish from Chef Hyde’s hometown, Ghanaian Spiced Maine Lobster with okra stew, jollof rice and wilted spinach, paired with 2018 Cellier Princes Cotes Du Rhone.

Chef Daniel Hoyle of La Fontanella Ristorante in Fort Myers will host a lunch demo on Friday, Sept. 13 featuring a Volante Bellini dessert drink in addition to a two-course lunch and wine pairing. Guests can enjoy a Caesar Salad paired with 2021 Coppo “Costebianche” Chardonnay from the Piedmonte Region, and a Filet with porcini sauce paired with 2017 Poggio Antico “Altero” Brunello Di Montalcino.

The final chef-led lunch demo will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at Bicyclette Cookshop, led by Chef Kayla Pfeiffer. Enjoy Chorizo Potatoes topped with chipotle hollandaise, and Chicken Flautas with avocado, lettuce and charred tomato salsa. About Sizzle Dining

Sizzle Dining began in 2016, as a week-long dining event in Naples. Year after year, it has grown substantially thanks to the commitment of local restauranteurs and Sizzle’s founders, Guy and Erin Clarke. Each year, participating local restaurants create mouth-watering prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus that highlight their chef’s impressive culinary skills. The menus are offered at affordable prices to encourage visitors to try a variety of local restaurants. This event helps drum up business for our local dining scene during one of the slowest months of the year in Southwest Florida. On top of the much-needed boost to our local culinary industry, Sizzle Dining gives back to the community in an even more impactful way. For every meal purchased, restaurant owners donate $1 of their proceeds to Blessings in a Backpack of Southwest Florida, an incredible organization that helps feed our local elementary school children over the weekends.
