Shell Point Retirement Community continues the Concerts & Conversations program of its 2019-2020 Fine and Performing Arts Series with a performance by Duo Beaux Arts at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at the Grand Cypress Room at The Woodlands at Shell Point, 14441 Woodsong Lane in Fort Myers. Formed in 2008, Duo Beaux Arts is made up of talented duo and internationally renowned husband-and-wife concert pianists Dr. Catherine Lan and Steinway Artist Tao Lin. The duo is well-known for their four-handed and solo pieces, specializing in music from the Baroque era to the contemporary, mixing semi-classical and fun pop tunes, as well as playing tango and ragtime.
Recent performances include concerts in France, Switzerland, Spain, Estonia, Netherland, Finland, Asia and the United States. Duo Beaux Arts are also the founders of the Beaux Arts Chamber Music Series in Naples, which invites pre-eminent chamber groups in the world to perform in a wonderfully intimate setting.
As part of Shell Point’s Concerts & Conversations program, guests can enjoy fellowship and a dessert reception with the performers following the concert.
