Shangri-La Springs, a unique resort and spa in downtown Bonita Springs, engaged Priority Marketing to help stay top of mind as they partially closed their doors for renovations. To help generate business during the restoration of its historic hotel, Priority Marketing utilized a strategic social media and public relations campaign to promote Shangri-La Springs’ spa services and monthly art night events and developed a plan for its anticipated grand reopening.
While the property was partially closed, Priority Marketing developed a robust social media content plan that was supported with very targeted paid social media advertising. The five-month plan resulted in over 14,000 impressions, more than 2,000 post engagements, and reached more than 10,000 people.
Through strategic media relations efforts, Priority Marketing achieved notable placements for Shangri-La Springs in local media outlets eBella, Florida Weekly, Hello SWFL, News-Press and The Banner. Local press and influencers experienced the organic spa services, attended the art night event and participated in interviews about the property’s restoration, generating exposure for Shangri-La Springs throughout Southwest Florida.
As a result of the increased media exposure and heightened social media engagement, Shangri-La Springs saw consistent spa bookings, and the December art exhibit exceeded expectations, surpassing their previous art night event attendance.
Through Priority Marketing’s partnership, Shangri-La Springs will continue to shine as they prepare to open their doors as a full-service historic hotel.
