Senior citizens zoom into wellness at Gulf Coast Village’s Eighth Annual Wellness Expo on March 30

Gulf Coast Village, a continuing care retirement community in Cape Coral, invites the public to join a day of fun and fitness at its Eighth Annual Wellness Expo on Wednesday, March 30 from 1:30 to 4 p.m. at the Gulf Coast Village Auditorium. The theme of this year’s event is a “Zumba – Move to the Music,” which will feature a variety of vendors, glow party entertainment, group exercise Zumba demonstrations with residents and employees, and a special skit for guests to enjoy.

“Fitness is key to maintaining independence and functionality as we age, and our team at Gulf Coast Village encourages the community to come together to raise awareness of the need for exercise as our bodies mature,” said Melissa Wallace, wellness director at Gulf Coast Village. “The ‘glow party’ theme of this year’s event is a great occasion to focus on fitness in a fun and friendly atmosphere, and is also a great, pressure-free opportunity for adults who are searching for a senior living community to visit the property and enjoy an afternoon socializing with current residents.”
