Event to support student programs on financial literacy, work readiness, entrepreneurship
Team registration is now available for Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida’s sixth annual Bowl-A-Thon fundraising event, taking place 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 30 at HeadPinz Entertainment Center, located at 14513 Global Pkwy. in Fort Myers. The event will support Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida’s efforts to provide educational programs on financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship throughout Southwest Florida schools. Registration for the Bowl-A-Thon event is available at www.JASWFL.org/junior-achievement-bowl-a-thon.
Bowl-A-Thon provides a fun-filled opportunity for businesses, colleagues, neighbors and friends to come together for team building and friendly competition. Teams of six are challenged to meet a team fundraising goal of $750, and each member will receive a team shirt, food, beverage, two adult beverages, shoes and lane rental.
Sanibel Captiva Community Bank is the presenting sponsor for 2017 Bowl-A-Thon. Additional sponsorship opportunities are still available, including beverage, T-shirt and food sponsorships. Each level includes signage at the event, logo recognition on all event print materials and email distributions, team entry, and recognition on Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida’s website and event press releases, as well as during the event.
