In honor of the start of the 2016-2017 school year, Pure Florida invites the Southwest Florida community to join in supporting Lee County public schools during the month of August by donating a portion of the proceeds from any cruise or activity at its Fort Myers location to The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools. Pure Florida’s contribution will assist the foundation in funding tools and resources for teachers and students. Cruises depart from Pure Florida’s Fort Myers location Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and one hour before sunset.
“We are excited to support The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools as we enter into a new school year, and hope that the community will join us in making a positive impact on Lee County students,” said Lance H. Julian, co-founder of Pure Florida. “The funds raised during the month of August will support our mission to provide local schools and teachers with the resources they need to continue providing high quality educational experiences for our students.”
“Pure Florida is another great community partner that understands the importance of supporting education throughout Lee County and our greatest asset: students,” said Marshall T. Bower, Esq., President and CEO, The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools.
