Pure Florida will ring in the New Year with celebratory cruises on Saturday, Dec. 31, sailing from its Naples location from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and its Fort Myers location from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Guests cruising from Naples will have the opportunity to indulge in appetizers and drinks while watching the fireworks show, and passengers in Fort Myers can enjoy watching the last sunset of 2016 with a complimentary drink. While Pure Florida cannot guarantee animal sightings in the wild, potential wildlife sightings include dolphins, eagles, manatee, native birds and more.
Departing from Pure Florida’s Naples location, passengers can enjoy a lively celebration spanning three hours aboard the M/V Double Sunshine. The cruise will feature Italian-inspired appetizers, refreshments, music and entertaining narration from Pure Florida’s captain, followed by the fireworks show from the Naples Pier, which will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the Naples cruise are available for $85 per person, and buy one, get one free drink offers will be available.
Departing from Pure Florida’s Fort Myers location, guests celebrating the New Year can enjoy the sights along the Caloosahatchee River at sunset aboard the M/V Edison Explorer as the knowledgeable Coast Guard-certified captain, also a master naturalist, offers a historical narration of local waterways and the environment. Upon returning to dock at The Marina at Edison Ford, guests can conclude their experience by exploring the local shops and restaurants of the historic Fort Myers River District or enjoying the community’s Downtown Countdown New Year’s Eve Celebration.
