Pure Florida presents spooktacular Halloween Science Cruises Oct. 29

Pure Florida is kicking off the Halloween weekend with a Halloween Science Cruise featuring spooktacular science experiments in Naples and Fort Myers at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29. The Halloween Science Cruise is free to children with paid adult admission as part of Pure Florida’s Kids Cruise Free Program. In addition to the themed science cruise, Pure Florida will also offer children free Halloween candy aboard any Pure Florida cruise Oct. 28-31. Children are welcome to cruise in their spookiest or silliest costumes.

Guests aboard Pure Florida’s Halloween Science Cruises in Naples or Fort Myers will have fun with spooktacular science experiments including slime, exploding liquids, making fog, boo bubbles and more. Guests cruising from Pure Florida’s Naples location will travel along the Gordon River aboard the M/V Double Sunshine with Glen Beitmen of “Super Science & Amazing Art.” Guests visiting Pure Florida’s Fort Myers location will cruise along the Caloosahatchee River aboard the M/V Edison Explorer with Marina Hurt of Pure Florida’s Pure Education team. When the experimenting is done, families can enjoy sightseeing along Southwest Florida’s beautiful waterways. Guests are invited to post pictures to social media using hashtag #GoPureFL for a chance to receive a $100 gift certificate to Pure Florida for additional fun on the water.

Cruise admission at Pure Florida’s Naples location is $35 for adults with free child admission with every paid adult. Additional child admission is $17.50. Pure Florida’s Fort Myers location’s cruise admission is $32 for adults with free child admission with every paid adult. Additional child admission is $16.

While Pure Florida cannot guarantee animal sightings in the wild, potential wildlife sightings include dolphins, eagles, manatee, native birds and more. The M/V Double Sunshine departs from the historic Tin City, located at 1200 Fifth Ave. S. in Naples and the M/V Edison Explorer departs from The Marina at Edison Ford, located at 2360 W. First St. in Fort Myers. Reservations are required.
