Progressive Builders, Inc. has hired Derrick Perry as production manager. In this position, Perry will be responsible for the client experience and managing projects to retain high customer satisfaction. His work primarily focuses on clients, project planning, scheduling, communication with subcontractors and suppliers, purchasing, cost management, quality assurance, record keeping and risk management.
Originally from coastal Alaska, Perry previously worked for Progressive Builders, Inc. in 2005, before returning to Alaska to support his family in the heart of the recession. He recently re-joined the team in January. Perry has had a close working relationship with Progressive Builders for over 10 years. During that time, as a NARI Certified Lead Carpenter, he managed the company’s cabinet line and worked as a superintendent. Now, as production manager, Perry draws from his extensive experience in home remodeling, custom residential new construction and large scale commercial construction projects such as schools and multi-purpose community centers. His wide range of skills, attention to detail and leadership qualities make him a valuable asset to the Progressive Builders, Inc. team and its clients.
