Priority Marketing has received two prestigious international Davey Awards for the Southwest Florida firm’s outstanding work in both print and digital campaigns.
Priority Marketing, a full-service marketing, advertising, public relations and digital marketing agency, earned a silver award in the Not-for-Profit Design category for its eye-catching print campaign launching the 2018 Southwest Florida Wine & Food Fest. “Cheers to 10 Years” included elegantly designed invitations to private dinners and the grand tasting, each packaged in custom-designed envelopes. The auction catalog was uniquely crafted from pearlized silver paper, which enhanced the event logo’s silver metallic ink and foil stamping. Rounding out the campaign were an event program and auction brochure that incorporated the shimmering logo with splashes of gold metallic and silver foil typography.
The Fort Myers-based agency earned a second silver Davey Award in the Online Video Series category for “We Hire to Inspire,” a testimonial video campaign created in partnership with The School District of Lee County. Priority Marketing provided interviewing, directing and production services for the campaign, which used teacher testimonials to attract new recruits including potential career-changers, recent college graduates and teachers from Puerto Rico who were displaced to Florida after Hurricane Maria. The videos were used in a digital teacher recruitment campaign also created and implemented by Priority Marketing.
“Our team carried out both campaigns to perfection, and it’s extremely gratifying to know that each delivered strong results for our clients,” said Teri Hansen, Priority Marketing’s president and creative director. “The 2018 Wine Fest raised $2.9 million to support pediatric health care and education in Southwest Florida, and the School District was able to hire several dozen additional teachers so that children had a full-time teacher in place once the school year began.”
The Davey Awards is a premier creative competition managed by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, a 700-member international organization dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media. The 2018 competition drew 3,000 entries worldwide from ad agencies, interactive agencies, production firms, in-house creative professionals, graphic designers, design firms and public relations firms.
“This season of the Daveys has once again put the outstanding work that comes from small shops across the globe on display,” Derek Howard, AIVA’s executive director, noted in announcing the winners. “We are proud to showcase those who utilize flawless execution, groundbreaking technology and a fresh approach to the thought process to generate amazing content.”
