A nonprofit mobile medical clinic that brings essential health care to those in need at multiple locations across Lee and Collier counties will once again make the holiday season brighter for local children next month at its annual Breakfast with Santa in Fort Myers.

Hosted by Premier Mobile Health Services, the sixth annual Breakfast with Santa takes place at City of Palms Park’s east parking lot, 2201 Edison Ave. in downtown Fort Myers, on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Families will enjoy breakfast as the children visit with Santa and receive a free toy, while supplies last. There will be prize giveaways of bicycles and free haircuts for kids, with Premier Mobile Health Services providing free medical screenings for children and the Lions Club offering vision and hearing screenings.

Participating organizations to date include Golisano Children’s Hospital; Optimum Care SWFL; Sunshine Health; the Fort Myers Police and Fire Departments; and Lee County Sheriff’s Office, with additional participants anticipated.

“We look forward to a morning of joy and laughter, with the chance to create lasting memories for children in our community,” said Dr. Nadine “Deanie” Singh, founder and CEO of Premier Mobile Health Services. “We also invite community members to help us support this effort with donations or sponsorships – your support is critical to help keep our doors open and wheels turning.”

An Amazon toy wish list can be found at https://a.co/jdZVQCu. Donations of new, unwrapped toys and bicycles can be dropped off during regular business hours at 10676 Colonial Blvd., Suite 20 in Fort Myers.

About Premier Mobile Health Services

The mission of Premier Mobile Health Services is to provide quality health care services to the medically vulnerable and those most risk of developing and experiencing long-term illnesses and hospitalization. Founded in 2018, the nonprofit organization operates a mobile medical clinic serving the uninsured and low-income children, families and individuals at multiple locations across Lee County, including a walk-in, bricks-and-mortar clinic in Fort Myers.

Available services include early-detection health screenings, blood pressure and diabetes checks, drug screenings, basic metabolic profiles, nutrition counseling, basic vaccinations, health education, school and sports physicals for children, as well as acute and chronic disease management. Patients without insurance and those who provide proof of income below 200 percent of the federal poverty guidelines account for two-thirds of its population and are provided care at no costs; others in need pay on a sliding scale based on income.

The organization has served more than 12,000 patients, providing frontline care during the COVID-19 pandemic and in the aftermath of Hurricanes Ian and Milton. The mobile clinic includes an onsite pharmacy and point-in-care laboratory for immediate analysis of test results. To learn more or schedule an appointment, call 239-288-7949. Additional information, the monthly mobile clinic schedule, can be found online at www.premiermobilehealth.org.
